Cube Stereo Speakers

I have a Sony stereo amp that takes normal speaker ends that you push the twisted wire end into. The bose cube speakers have RCA ends on them, and it appears there's 1 jack per channel. Normal speaker wire has two wires per channel. Can anyone advise me on this? The came as part of the house I bought.

An RCA jack has two wires in it. The middle one is positive. What you are attempting to do is not a good idea however, because contrary to what Bose would like us to believe their little cube speakers are not designed to handle high power of even a full range signal. I would suggest selling the Bose speakers on eBay and getting some decent full range speakers.

It looks like you have several options and it accepts the speaker wire as inputs from your stereo and RCA jacks (which is what the cube speakers have) as the outputs to attach to the speakers.

Most Bose speakers use an equalizer card in their amp to "flatten" their own speakers because their unique design screws up their sound. You can hook them to other units, but they most likely will not sound the same because of that. email@homestudioresource.com
