Digital Audio 2000 Speakers

I need some technical help.

I was installing Adobe Photoshop CS3 a while ago, and then uninstalled it. At some time, I decided to play some music in Windows Media Player but a lot of red x’s appeared beside the songs and a pop-up said that Windows cannot recognize my speakers. I started to check Skype and the Audio settings, and it said the same thing. I went to the Control Panel>Sound blaahh>Speaker Settings>Troubleshoot. I received an error and it says it can’t run the speakers (Code 10). I tried to uninstall the speakers and install it again (through Plug and Play), but the (Code 10) error still appears. I am using Windows XP SP2, but I don’t know anything about how to remove sound cards or stuff like that. Also, I tried to update the device but it says that there are no better versions of it.

I was able to use the speakers ever since they were installed (since 2000 something) and I was just using it a while ago while playing JamLegend. Please help! Thanks!

This sounds more like a computer problem than a speaker problem. It would probably be better to post this in the computer forum, and let the nerd-herd help you, they're pretty good.

i have a.....

4 alpine type r speakers
sundown audio 2000 W RMS amp powering the sub
US amp 600 W RMS powering the 4 speakers

I was thinking about getting the 800 kinetik extra battery. would that be enough?
im not sure how to calculate that kind of information

Two things to do. #1 the most important thing to do, its called "The Big Three" This allows your car to better charge your battery and actually can benefit idle as well. The three are, upgrad to bigger wire from Battery positive to alternator. Stock wire is usually like 6 gauge or even 8 in some cases, upgrade to at least a 4gauge. Next, upgrade the ground from batter negative to chassis also using 4 gauge or bigger. Then find your grounds that go from your engine block to your chassis and to firewall. sometimes they stick out and are easy to find. if you can not find them, no biggie, just find a bolt on your block e.i. the mounting bolt for alternator and run a 4 gauge or bigger to your chassis. Again, this will help your alternator to run better. Now instead of adding an extra battery, get a bigger battery like 1200 kinetic and replace your stock battery and that should suffice :) Its not a great idea to have more 2 different brands of batteries together.

If you do the above 2 things, you should be just fine. As for alternator problems, unless you plan on slumpin youre beats for 10 hours straight, your battery should hold up fine, its not frequent that you're in your car at full blast for a very long time.

If this were a question regarding the "market value", the answer would be $50-$100. This would be mostly due to the monitor.

The reality of it is that your system is worth what you can get for it. Sell it like it's worth what you want for it.

Many factors would be considered if this item was being sold by a PC shop. Operating system, antivirus, as well as other software. Of course the hard drive should be reformatted, otherwise you xxx photos would be transfered to new owner. Or ANY personal info, for that matter.

Parting it out and selling it on ebay would likely bring the most. You could do a little research and find a more specific answer to your questions on ebay. Beware if you try to purchase anything on ebay. There are many scammers and sorry butt crooks out to take advantage of honest folks, and ebay does nothing more than provide "direct lines of communication" for buyers dealing with crooked sellers.
