Digital Audio Speakers

I have intended to buy a pair of used Audio Digital 5000E speakers for $120.00. Not sure if it is worth for $120 and are they the really good speakers for karaoke ?
I've already bought these speakers. They are not bad for KOK.They have 12" woofer, midrange , and a horn speakers. In fact, they really looks new !

Is there any good but cheap speakers with digital audio optical input? I know logitech has the Z-5500 but thats to much for me right now. Any other options?

With digital audio in, in effect you are buying a small AV receiver+ speakers.
You may be better off, buying a low-cost home-theater in a box, but make sure it has an auxiliary s/pdif input.

I just bought a 26" sharp lcd hdtv. The picture is fine, but the speakers are very disappointing. the tv does have a digital output audio. what kind of external speakers/woofers are compatible with this tv? what components will be needed? i reckon a conventional computer speaker wouldn't work.

In order to use the digital audio output, you'll need a Dolby receiver, which means you'll need a full-blown Home Theater kit. You can get these relatively cheaply these days, but you get what you pay for. If the TV is a small one for a bedroom, you might do better to take the ANALOG audio output and run that into a set of PC speakers with subwoofer.

I have an LCD TV and would like to hook up a nice set of compter speakers I own. The only audio out is a single digital audio out port. When I hook up the computer speakers they sound really bad. Is there a way to hook them up without having to buy an expensive amplifier etc.????

Buy a cheapo surround sound system.
