From a distance, there doesn't appear to be much of a difference between the outgoing and incoming models.
The RX6 keeps the two-and-a-half way driver arrangement. It also has the smooth edges and slender dimensions of its predecessor together with a sturdy, yet slightly clumsy-looking base plinth. It's a bit like watching Kate Moss posing in a pair of clogs – it just doesn't look right. But this is where the similarities end. The RX6 uses a new tweeter design that claims higher sensitivity and a wider bandwidth. The RX6s also feature a new midrange bass driver that was originally created for the company's Gold Signature speakers but has now been fine-tuned specifically for the RX range.
