Please don#39;t expect any responses until the end of April as I am currently on a round the world trip. I#39;m a little too busy to be working ...

I use a stereo as my laptop speakers by keeping it on auxillary on all the time (with the auxillary being my computer). It has an LED display that says AUX when it's on and when it's off, it shows the time. I'm worried about it adding to the cost of the electric bill.

About like worrying if walking an extra 3 steps a day will add to your grocery bill in added food energy required.

I have a night light in one room that uses 4w. It's on all the time. In an entire year, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, it costs me an extra $4.50 for the whole year.

ok, i started w/ a hp g60, 1 month later it craped out on me. then thought of getting a hp tx2500 after i customized it, then they stoped carrying it! now i am thinking about the hp dv5z! it is rated #1 oa any laptop! here are the specs

i only want answers from people who have a good stereo system, i dont care how your ipod or zune sounds thru a 200 dollor cheep-0 sony or any other low end brand sterio your bought at walmart.. or any thing like that.. i have a denon receiver and energy speakers. for a example of high end equipment..

The sound quality for the i pod is good, but not suitable for an audiophile system. Absolutely no comparison. Check this site out for more info. The compression destroys the sound quality.

i just connected my brand new stereo to my car and i noticed that sound isn't coming out of my speakers. i know that i can check the speaker wires, if i get two of the wires, a green and a green with a black stripe wire, one should be postitive and the other one should be negative. i checked all the wires that are going out to the speakers and all of them are coming out with positive energy. why is this? i belive that one of my wires is not connected correctly. i tried following the exact colors, what can i do or how can i check it?

Did you use a harness adapter? It plugs into the factory radio harness and is wired to the new stereo harness.
