Front Stereo Speakers

I have the stereo in my kitchen and the speakers are light grey. Over time, the speakers have become increasingly dirty. I have tried to get the fronts off, but they seem to be stuck on. Any ideas?

I'm looking to buy a new car stereo and 2 front speakers.
-I own a '87 Mazda 323 with the factory stereo system in it.
-I have 200 bucks (give or take a little)
-I don't need an AMAZING system. MP3 capable and an audio jack would be nice. No need to blow out my ear drums, just play music.
-All the things and I need installation because I have NO idea what I'm doing.
-What are the chances of being able to pull this off with my budget, and do you have any suggestions as far as places to go (I was thinking circuit city?)
-also any good stereo systems you know of (or have) in this price range?

you will b able to get a cd player with mp3 play back and a jack. And you will be able to get front speakers. Should cost about $250 installed at the least.. You might want to go to your local independent car audio store and talk with them and work a deal to get it closer to $200 .. chain stores wont budge on price ...... Make m some cookies u will be surprised. worked on me

While driving, the front stock speakers in my 1999 dodge ram 1500 sudenly quit working while the two in the rear seat continued to work. Then a few minutes later the front speakers started working again. So i thought nothing else of it. the next day the same thing happened. They went out then came back in and then went back out now they are still not working. I know i havent blown the speakers, because i dont listen to my music all that loud. I was wondering if it could be a fuse or just a loose wire somewhere. Any idea on what it is andhow to fix it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Dodge has the worse OEM stereos made, Sounds to me that your receiver (radio) itself has a failed preamp

My rear right side works but my left rear dont. i have tried to play with the balance but that dont change anything, that dont make them work either, the sound is great just from those speakers that work but its really anoying me, before i take it somewhere does anyone know what it might be and can advise me on anything please. thank you so much.

It could be a number of things... loose connection, rusty terminals (depending on what car you have) the amp may have burnt out on the stereo.

The most common will be the loose connection, one of the wires may have fallen off the speakers, or the speaker coil may have blown.

If you have a multi meter, you could check what it is by taking the door card off, removing the speaker and seeing if any signal comes down the wire, if not its the wire/stereo, if it does, its the speaker ;)

I do not get good sound in the rear speakers when I use stereo speakers -sansui sp7500 - for the front speakers.Do i need to upgrade to speakers designed for surrond sound?

Your issue stems from a system that is not timbre' matched
