Good Music Speakers

is a pioneer music system with jbl speakers a good option without using an amplifier.. i am loking for a set up which does not go beyond 8k Rs . you can also suggest any other options which you find good........

Try this setup. Go for A Sony MP3 CD receiver(CDX-GT270S). Add a set of 10 cms 2-way co-axial speakers at the front(XS-GTF1025B). In the rear parcel shelf custom fit a pair of 6" X 9" 3-way co-axial speakers(XS-GTF6935B). This set up must not cost you more than Rs.9,000. Have fun!

I only gave examples of Sony as it was easier for me. You could use similarly rated Pioneer, Kenwood, etc if you find them for a better price.

I want to play music from my laptop through large speakers for a party. I'm assuming I need an amp as the middle man since I can't hook up the speakers directly to my laptop.

for my computer i have a cambridge audio A1 mark 3 (A1 mk3) which has worked well for me for ages and its been playing music for ages from a computer output to photo lead.

Just get a good quality one with selective inputs, most separate system amplifiers will have this option.

Your right that you can't really hook up speakers with any sort of power without a pre amp.

Alternatively you could get a good set of speakers with an internal amp - though for a party these would probably not be suitable.

Which slide mobile phone can play music through its (internal) SPEAKERS with relatively high quality?

Unfortunately I can not give you a straight answer because it's up to you to decide. I would narrow it down to nokia's xpressmusic series. Those are to be the best in music. But the problem is you have to decide which one because they all have good music, but one maybe touchscreen the other may have a good camera... So just type it up on google (xpressmusic nokia) and start looking at some specs. Hope this helps!

JBL..i have it 4 my ipod and its loud and works great!!! We use it for my moms dance school and it works seemlesly!!!

I'd like to play all the music I have stored on my external hard drive and laptop through my 100 W speakers. Can I hook up an amp to the computer and speakers to play all of my music? If I can, how do I hook it up?

Connect the LINE OUT output from the laptop to the LINE IN jack on your HiFi amplifier. Set the computer volume to halfway, and control the speaker volume via the HiFi amp. If you don't have a LINE OUT on your laptop, you could connect a FM transmitter (as used to transmit MP3 players to your car radio) to the speaker (headphone) output and receive the music on the HiFi's FM radio receiver.
