Home Music Speakers System

Hello folks!
me was thinking of installing my car speakers for my home theatre system! What i'm looking at doing is installing my MTX mono amp with JBL sub woofer and a 4channer Sony amplifier with 6" Infinity component speakers in my bedroom!
I have a 32" samsung LCD and i want to connect the aforementioned system with this LCD. I'm unsure how the heck to do it. Last time i tried connecting my car speakers to my home Hifi and them speakers blew up,also the deck got f**d up :(
Please please please can anyone explain me how i'll be able to achieve this?!

go buy a home theater system, don't rig up something that is a fire hazard and a bad idea that will ultimately sound like crap

Suggest me gud Music System or Speakers with woofers or Home theathre with lound sound and Gud bass. My budget Rs. 20,000/- ??

Forget Bose. A simple headphone costs Rs.7,500 & Bose QuiteComfort headphones are above 20,000.
Go for Sony. Don't look for PMPO. That's a misleading figure. Look for RMS. Within your budget, purchase the one which has the highest RMS with your eyes closed. RMS the minimum power that set'll give 100% time at any volume level. RMS is a fail-safe measure of sound quality. Each Sony home theatre comes with RMS for all 5 satellites & the subwoofer specifically mentioned.
The higher the subwoofer RMS, more will be the bass punch.

Don't look at any other company except Sony. Bose home theatres start from around Rs. 2lakhs. You read right......2Lakhs.

I want to listen to Yahoo Radio stations on my louder home theater system instead of the smaller laptop speakers. I have an Onkyo receiver that has surround sound speakers and I would like to set up my computer to play music from online radio stations at a party I am having. Is this possible?

I use the ROKU Soundbridge to stream all the music on my PC to my pool area. It works both wired and wireless and only costs about $100.

Or, you can by an RCA Y cables that goes from headphone jack on your laptop to an RCA inpupt on your receiver.

I found different options by different vendors on home theater system and HIFI music system. Both have almost same price and both capable for playing dvd and giving 5.1 channel output with equal number of speakers. Then why it is categorizing as home theater and home music system. Appearance is the only this i could make out.

Hi-fi stands for high fidelity. A true hi-fi system with have only two speakers! these are usually towers with passive bass woofers. That said most of us can not afford a $200,000 stand alone hi-fi stereo. Most higher end and some medium manufactures understand this and they make receivers and preamp/processors capable of rendering good quality sound for both. Typically 'hi-fi' systems are two channel only - with dedicated components , cd player, turntable, 2 speakers, possibly a pre-amp and seperate amplifier or integrated amp. - made for listening to music through.
Home Theatre systems are geared towards watching movies and have complex internal components to decipher 5.1 surround info, multiple internal amplifiers etc..

I just want to know if there is way to use the surround sound speakers as my computer speakers without burning songs onto a cd.

Can't use just the speakers. Can use a Y plug that plugs into headphone jack of the pc and has two male rca plugs on the other end. Plug this into the AUX jacks on your reciever and play the music on your computer through your surround receiver set on the AUX mode. Wish I had the time to try this, but you might be able to split the Y plug wire in two and wire this wire directly to the speaker wires
