2002 chrysler sebring lxi with factory infinity system. stereo powers up and works, just no sound from speakers.
There is a seperate amplifier in this vehicle which is most likely not being turned on. If you want more info, please specify if the vehicle is the convertable, coupe, or sedan (all 3 are different).

I have a 2004 Dodge ram 1500 quad cab with the infinity stereo system and my driver rear speaker does not work. I wanted to know where can I find a replacement speaker and what size is it?
the infinity system uses a speaker that transfers sound from one speaker to the other,if one of those go bad you have to replace it with a factory speaker in order for it to work right,i cant remember on those if they are a 5x7 or a 6x 9, i have only worked on a few,but it will have to be ordered from a dealer on that one,i did one a long time ago,most of the time they wont give no problems,you can remove it or call a dealer and they know exactly what to order to replace it with,or go to a salvage yard and get a used one which isn't a good idea,even though it will probably be good it may not last very long,good luck with it.

When it comes to speakers Infinity is a hell of a lot better than Memphis. This comes from experience, both personally and installing wise. Now, as far as subs go, Infinity makes a great sub (very clean, low bass, good sound), but Memphis also makes a hell of a sub (deep, strong, loud). As far as which is better, in my opinion it comes down to usage. If you want more of a SQ setup the Infinity subs would be my choice, but if you want more SPL then I would go with Memphis. However, all the positive qualities of both subs could be totally negated by the wrong enclosure and a bad amp. So take all this into consideration and make your choice from there.

I own a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS that I bought used about a year ago. I blew the rear speakers and went to Best Buy and had them replaced for as cheap as I could. They put in some Kenwoods that sound like garbage. I'd like to buy new speakers, but since I don't know the specs on the Infinity stereo that's in my car right now, I don't know what to buy.

Your front door speakers are 5 1/4" and your back side panel speakers are 6 1/2". Your factory deck with the infinity system has more than enough power to drive most speakers in those sizes. I have always had a preference for pioneer speakers for their price and performance. You can get a nice 6 1/2" 3-way pioneer for under $50. Check www.crutchfield.com
i have a pioneer deh p2000. the car has 4, 4" infinity speakers. no bass whatsoever and the sound seems to move around. i think the speakers are bad. looking to buy so new ones - i know i have to get 4", but what about the wattage? will i only be able to hear treble??? thanks!
If you get good ones you should hear a nice sound to them. Typically your pioneer cd player will put out 45w per channel so base your speakers with that in mind. Your cd player should say on there exactly what it puts out.
