Left Speakers Sound

One of my B amp; W speakers has a muffled sound and has lost quality ...

I have 2 B & W speakers and a amp, they are plugged into my PC. The entire sound system is old but has recently broke the right speaker has a muffled sound and has lost quality and is playing quieter. My dad will be realy annoyed if i can’t fix them. My friend recently took of the fabric front to look at the round things, but that surely couldn’t have broke it as he barely touched it, plz help. The "round things" that you refer to are the speaker drivers – the bits that actually make the sound. I’m guessing you have bookshelf speakers, so they will have 2 drivers each – one for the low range (a woofer) and one for the high range (a tweeter).
