Lightning Audio Speakers

I'm looking at Lightning Audio speakers for my 2006 Ford Focus but don't know what I should do for a good setup. I'm looking for something good but cost efficient. Any ideas?

i have two 10 inch lightning audios in my truck and they sound real good and are cheap

I have a 30 watt durabrand radio with 30 watt RMS tweeters, and have a 300 watt amp and sub. The tweeters aren't hooked up to the amp, but they keep sounding like they're cracked from my 30 watt radio. The max. watts on the tweeters are supposed to be 90 watts. What do I need to fix to make the speakers sound clearer?

get a good radio...durabrand sounds cheap...never heard of it...remember, you get what you pay for!

I have 2 pyle 4x6 speakers for my fronts(and yes,they are junk), 4 Lightning Audio 6x9's(two in rear deck factory location) other two in trunk with box's and powered by 40w amp, and a Sony Xlpod 1200w sub. The 6x9's in the deck are from when I had a factory radio. I now have a Sony Xlpode 52w x4 channel CD/MP3 player. When playing alot of bass, Like a Lil Jon song, the other day something in my setup started sounding like paper/cardboard flapping hard so I turned off the bass boost and turned down the bass on the CD Deck. well yesterday it started going in and out and sounding distorted and the bass sounded like flapping paper again and just completely went out. the cd player wouldnt work but the radio played with minimal sound. any high volume and it would just die on me. I disconneted the rear deck speakers and the system started to play again so I am confused on what exactly might have blown, hopefully not the whole system. that would suck badly. Sub wasnt cheap! help please. thanks

to tell if there blown or not grab a 9 volt n hook up a wire to each side pos-pos-neg-neg and if the speaker like moves up and down there good..but it also cud be a crossed wire...hope that helps man

Now I know these are both not the best out there, so I don't wanna hear "screw em both". I just want to know which people would prefer. I have a 6x8" Lightning Audio Component Set in the front-which I'm keeping, but in the back, I have stock speakers, but I'm deciding between Duall illuminites and Lightning Audio 6x8" Bolt Coaxials. Which ones should I go with?

I'd honestly have to say neither with Dual being the worst of the two. If you want some budget priced speakers look on internet, Walmart, etc for Jensen or Pioneer. You should be able to land a pair for $40-$60 plus tax or shipping. You'll be happier you did in the long run even if it does take another week or two to save the money.
