Loud Speakers

I have a laptop and I live beneath an asshole with a good bass system. I need a really good bass system/speakers that will outdo the dick upstairs (I plan on face them toward the ceiling.) SO, what would any of you prescribe? I need something that so loud it could potentially vibrate. Keep in mind I have a laptop.

hook your laptop up to a home stereo system. maybe a good
system.with12" sub. that will blow him away.

im listening to loud rock music and the speakers are right next to their bowl. im scared that they'll die so im asking this question before i start it again.. please answer thanks (:

Your fish can be physically damaged by exposure to loud noise. Not only that but prolonged exposure to the vibrations can weaken your tank.

i'm shopping online, and i'm reading the reviews, but i see some skinny floor speakers that are part of a home theater system. is there a way to tell how good they would be without buying them?

Speakers are very subjective. Kind of like buying paint. If you keep that in mind you will be ok. If you could buy paint online would you? Probably not because there are nuances in paint color that just can't be communicated online - only buy judging in person. Same thing with speakers. Some speakers are very bass heavy, others have a lot of midrange while others are weak in bass but good everywhere else. How that would translate to your ears is the big question. That is why most people will recommend that even if you plan on buying online that you listen to them in a showroom somewhere. Just don't tell the salespeople you are buying online.

Infinity reference are great speakers that fit in most jeeps. Just go to crutchfield.com, type in your car, and then find the speakers that are best for you
