Mp3 Speakers

Where can I buy speakers for an mp3? Not headphones. Like an ipod dock, but not as huge, and kind of like those idog things, but still smaller? I've seen them before but I don't know where to buy them. If that's not possible, I have an adapter that goes from the mp3 to the radio, but it never has good reception. Is there a way to fix it?

they have small ipod speakers at sharper image and also circuitcity or best buy and for your car if you have a tape deck try getting a tape thing for your car
and also see if your car has an mp3 jack or get a new car with an mp3 jack built in

I don't have an ipod and it seems the majority of mp3 player speakers out there are made for ipod. Anyone out there that doesn't have have an ipod either, have a recommendation? I live in a one bedroom apartment, so I don't need speakers that are really loud. I want speakers that range from $50 - $150. I listen mostly to alternative and electronic.

i have a subwoofer box and i was wondering if you can make them into mp3 speakers. is it possible? if so how? i also have cheap portable mp3 speakers if i can work off of that

Im just wondering what happens when I hook up speakers (computer speakers) to my mp3 player?

I mean, the whole u plug it in seems to fit... I just want to know will it work? Will I b able to blast the sound? :O

or

will it simply break my mp3 player and speakers?
will it drain my batteries like RLY fast or something?

I have two different MP3 players, and I use computer-style speakers with them all the time. Your MP3 player doesn't know the difference between sending a signal to your headphones or speakers, as long as they use the same size of jack.

The volume will depend on both the volume adjustments you have made to your player and to the speakers. In my experience, you will get better sound quality if you turn up the volume level on the mp3 player before turning up the volume on the speakers. When the volume level is high on the player, it is sending a stronger signal to the speakers through the cable. If you have the player at a low volume and the speakers at a high volume, there will be a lower quality of sound and more static because the speakers will be amplifying a weak signal.

Just make sure you turn the volume down on the mp3 player before you use headphones again so you don't blast your ears!

You will also want to make sure that the speakers are either battery powered or mains electricity (plug into the wall socket) powered. External speakers that don't have their own power and rely solely on the signal from the mp3 player are really quiet, and not much use outdoors or in noisy environments.

I want to purchase some speakers for my sansa c250 mp3 player, but I don't know which speakers are best to use. So, I would just like to know if anybody already has speakers for this mp3 player. If they do, can you please tell me how those speakers are. Also, if possible, please add a link to a site that shows the speakers described. Thank You.
