Music Player With Speakers

I'm currently looking for a replacement for my motorola e398. E398 got amazing speakers w/ great bass punch, so I'm particularly interested in ones with great sounding speakers and music player-headset. I tried Sony Ericsson w550i/600i before and found the speakers lacking bass punch and annoyingly loud at times.

I'm currently trying to make up my mind between:
SE w900i - w850i - w880i - w810i
Samsung d900 (ultra 12.9 in US)
Motorola E2 - e6
I'm definitely not a nokia fan but I heard the n91 and 5300 got great speakers, so I might consider it too.

Btw I'm planning to switch to Cingular, heard they don't allow unlocked cell users to have access to many of their services, is it true?

Price isnt a big deal, as I always use unlocked phones anyways. Any suggestions, even if the model you recommend isnt on my list, would be really appreciated. Thanks

Sony Ericsson's Walkman line of phones are great mobile phone/music player combo. But most of them only have mono speakers; better buy those speakers from the manufacurer themselves for better sound output. I don't really recommend those Moto phones w/ iTunes, they're hard to navigate and not the most user friendly phones out there.

When i plug in speakers, or plug the iPod touch to my radio dock, it always auto switches to the music player. Is there a way to make it stay on the current application?
It's annoying because if I start something on youtube, and then plug in the speakers, it will auto switch to the music player.

nah...i hate that 2. its just the application..its like plugging in ur ipod to ur computer and stop the "Syncing" lock screen to come up...it might be out with later versions..just check itunes for the latest version and make sure ur on it

Any sound that comes out of my speakers does not play nicely.if i play a song on media player,it plays like its playing from a scratched cd,in yet my music is stored on the laptop.its irritating.wat do i do????

Buy some speakers..... or play your music in extremely low levels.

Most of the times (99.9%) laptop speakers are low quality and tiny.

Therefore if you try to listen something from any source in a moderate sound level and beyond, it sounds crap.

Pc/ Laptop speakers are relatively cheap if you don't care for room-filling sound.

You should go for a 2.1 set-up (2 speakers and 1 subwoofer), especially if your music collection is rnb, hip/hop, rock, dance etc.

Before I buy a new set of speakers I'd like to know if I can play music from my Creative Labs Zen on any speaker system, or if I have to buy special ones with special specifications.

Just bout any speaker that has a headphone style plugin, or you can get one of those adapters that lets you plugin the red/white AV cables to anything that'll take em. Its just a standard analog output.
