Music Speakers Cable

I have this docking station that only has an AUX input and I was wondering if I could connect the AUX cable from my cassette deck to my docking station to listen to music. I tried this already and I didn't hear anything, but I could tell the speakers were on. Are there any other necessary cables I need such as AV cables for this to work?

That should have worked, if you connect the "Play" output of your cassette deck to the "Aux" input on your docking station. You shouldn't need any other cables. Could it be that the "Aux" connection on the deck is an input, not an output?

You don't need another TV. You may need another cable box though, if you want to be able to listen to cable music outside while watching something different inside.

My friend has one but cant remember the name of it, the only info he could give me is it has 3.5mm jacks on each end, does any1 know the name of the cable and can i just get it from Dick Smith/Roylaines etc.

I would like to connect my Bose Wave Music System to external speakers, with a speaker cable. The Bose Wave has a headphone connector, and no rca inputs, or speaker cable ports. Is there any way to get it connected to my external speakers, through a speaker cable, WITHOUT BUYING A RECEIVER?

You could go to Radio Shack and see if you could find some type of splitter that would plug into the headphone jack that had 2 leads on. I know this doesn't make a lot of sence but what I'm trying to say is the one end would puug into where you would plug in the headphones and that the other end would have 2 wires that you could splice your speaker wire to.

I have a single channel stereo system in the house that is conected to the box. Can I get a wireless audio tran/reciever connect the transmitter to the cable box and the reciever to a seperate stereo reciever on the deck connected to my outdoor speakers? Picking up the cable channel playing inside and transmiiting the signal out side? Any recommended brands to buy or stay away from?

Keep it simple - just get a separate receiver and split the audio outs from the cable box to both your indoor receiver and the outdoor one. All you need to do this is a pair of RCA "Y" cables available at Radio Shack and elsewhere.
