Right now I 'm looking for some speakers that perform exceptionally well for music. Because I have finally grown tired of the built in speakers in my laptop.
So far from looking online i really liked the logitech z-2300 but from reading reviews here and there its apparent they are not good for music, but rather games.
Anyone help me here please? I could use some advice.
you should get what i have insignia 5.1 surround sound they work the best and you can buy them at bestbuy

I have been reviewing options for 2.1 computer speakers, but I was looking to see some other peoples opinions here. I want to spend anywhere from $200 to $300. I don't play video games on my computer, but listen to music, and want to play it loud.
I've always gone Logitech and have been very happy with the results. They are fairly affordable, and put out great sound. Right now I have these hooked up to my Mac. They come with a great carrying case too. Ask around and I think you'll get some favorable responses about them.

I have £60 british pounds to spend on some budget speakers. I make music on my PC and have read many good, some bad , reviews on both these speakers. I know the MS20 are classed as monitors but do they really at that price offer more than the T20's, I would love to hear from someone who has heard both? Thanks
I havent heard both but you cant go wrong with Creative speakers. Theyre excellent
The main thing I'll be using them for is music, but games and movies are important as well. I instinctively thought something from Bose, like their Companion 5 system, but upon reading some of the reviews I think differently. Is there anything that is nearly flawless, in quality and reviews??????????????
It's not your "instinct" that is leading you to Bose, but I'm sure their marketing department would be happy to read this. LOL
I had a friend once tell me that he's not effected by advertising. LOLOL
There is nothing useful on the Internet when chosing a sound system compared to using your own ears. Speakers should ALWAYS be selected in person.
I'm looking at reviews for Klipsch and Altec. I don't want something too big. Help please?

A review of reviews of Avett Brothers#39; #39;I and Love and You ...
This new album, it's smooth as butter. As silk. As a baby's bottom. Whatever smooth thing you want to compare it to, it's as smooth as that. You can thank producer Rick Rubin, and the band's own perfectionist tenacity, and also the nearly ten years they've spent on the road, refining their sound and learning what they're best at, which, clearly, involves breaking hearts and then piecing them back together. The new album is less raw, less frenetic; there are less blood-curdling yowls and audibly shredded banjo strings. It's
What's distinctive about the Avetts -- singing, multi-instrumentalist siblings Seth and Scott and artistically adopted stand-up bassist Bob Crawford, plus a step-member, cellist Joe Kwon -- is a dedication to exploring a specific dynamic: the intense expression of soft emotions. This focus is refined and made beautifully accessible on the band's Rick Rubin-shepherded major label debut, which follows a busy near-decade of independent releases and constant touring. What makes this cultivated innocence bearable, besides the band's sprightly playing and ravishing sense of melody, is the diligence with which the Avett brothers, who write the material, and their bandmates explore the subject of sentimentality. Each cliché is honed and nurtured, making these songs both the expression of feelings that startle and a meditation on how and why feelings can be so disordering.
