National Speakers And Sound

So it was dark and I was trying to plug my speakers into my laptop. Instead of the usual 3.5mm "hole" that it was supposed to go into, i plugged it into the microphone jack instead. I started hearing something that sounds like from the Democratic National Convention which i suspect is coming from TV/radio. Why?

might be your system started to receive the signals.. where the cable you plugged in is acting as the antenna for the radio.. this is the similar situation with the mobile phone..

or it might be the distortion that you are mistaking to be a some kind of a radio signal....

Yes I just read that Jennifer Hudson and Faith Hill both lip synched their performance at the request of the Super Bowl producer.

I follow the American League, so I don't see broadcast games in the National League until the World Series.

Now on the 4th game of the Series, 2nd in Colorado, I've noticed that some of th "crowd chants" don't seem live or coming from the crowd, rather from a speaker. For example is the 'RockIES ---' chant, and the stomping sound.

it is the crowd making the noise, I was at the NLCS and it was loud even in the cold, rainy game 3. The organ sounds may start things, but the crowd takes over.
There hasn't been much to cheer about at Coors in the WS.
