Is it true that 2 stereo speakers are better than the 2.1 set ups with base box and satellites for music listening?

Just screwing around with my PC#39;s internal beeper :P

I want to be able to listen to music in the speakers and use my head phones for counter strike? It Used to work but now it dosent can i change this ? or is it stuck like it. Ill start playing the music and put in the head phones and it will stay in the speakers but when the song changes it goes to the head phones?

you need a new sound card with more than just a single stereo output...

and the game must support using one output for sound, and the other for music....

when playing any games or like CS ill just keep the music player running on my desktop lower than the game volume...so I can hear both.

I have Bluetooth enabled on my PC (via a dongle) running on BlueSoleli 2+ as well as on my Macbook. I also have speakers connected to my PC that run through a USB port. I was wondering if there was anyway to play music from my Macbook and hear audio from my PC speakers.

Any help would be great!
Also, my speakers do not have bluetooth capabilities, but I was hoping that since my PC does, it would somehow use the audio source to play music back through the speakers.

you might be able to if you click the bluetooth icon on the top bar, turn bluetooth on, and click set up bluetooth device if the speakers are not already discoverable, and click any device, I can't help you much from there because I've never used speakers on bluetooth, and I don't know what kind of speakers you have.

my cd deck is broken so i figured i'd try playing my music through my computer but wanted the stereo speakers for the output sound.

i have a packard bell pc and on the power units rear there is an orange and blue coloured circular socket. Would they be anything?

please help if you can.
