What do I need to be able to play music from my computer on 4 large stereo speakers?

I want to be able to play music on my stereo speakers that I have outside (wired or wireless is fine) but they are big stereo speakers and I don't know how I would connect them or if the computer has enough power to sound decent on them. Help?

If you pull too much power through your sound card to your speakers, you risk burning out the circuitry in the card. Also if you cannot drive the speakers, you risk hurting them too. It is best to use your computer as a music server to a receiver that powers the speakers. The receiver usually has enough power through it's internal amp to power the speakers. You could also push an amp with your computer, but you'd get deeper sound through a receiver IMO.

Route the audio from your sound card into your aux in connection on your receiver.

Have fun with it.

How to play MUSIC from the iphone through my car speakers?

How to play MUSIC from the iphone through my car speakers? i dont wanna use the Radio Transmitter. its there any application for that ?

There is a special little adapter you can buy for your car. Then it just plugs into the outlet I believe. There are instructions inside of it. You would have to find an empty radio station to hear the music on your iPhone. Then play it that way.

How can I play music from my Macbook to my PC speakers via bluetooth?

I have Bluetooth enabled on my PC (via a dongle) running on BlueSoleli 2+ as well as on my Macbook. I also have speakers connected to my PC that run through a USB port. I was wondering if there was anyway to play music from my Macbook and hear audio from my PC speakers.

Any help would be great!
Also, my speakers do not have bluetooth capabilities, but I was hoping that since my PC does, it would somehow use the audio source to play music back through the speakers.

you might be able to if you click the bluetooth icon on the top bar, turn bluetooth on, and click set up bluetooth device if the speakers are not already discoverable, and click any device, I can't help you much from there because I've never used speakers on bluetooth, and I don't know what kind of speakers you have.

Why do my speakers "stutter" whenever I play music or video from music players or the web?

I just bought a nearly top of the line XPS desktop from dell with tons of speed, 4 GB RAM, and all the other bells and whistles but when I start playing music from iTunes, a video from youtube on Explorer, etc. the speakers stutter as if the computer were slow. Why is this and how can I fix it? Oh, and I am using Vista, in case that matters.

Your sound card on board is OK, Check your sound configuration, if the sound application is installed, adjust the settings, maybe it was set in a DSP (Digital Sound Processor) mode, some settings will create too much reververation that will result distorted sound. set it to none or normal..

  • Speaker Bags Play Music from your iPod ยป Coolest Gadgets

I don’t know if Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie are friends anymore, but if they ever do get together and hit Rodeo Drive, I highly recommend they tote around the speaker bags.

Yes, these speaker bags don’t just look like speakers, but they are speakers for iPods, and I would imagine iPhones. It brings out about 30 watts worth of power, which is enough to disturb the salespeople and other customers as the rich girls throw high-priced items into the bag itself.

Of course, I don’t know how much the bag can hold with the dock inside, but hey, it’s all about style, isn’t it? I do know that the dimensions are 46 x 12 x 11 centimeters. Now if only they would make this in pink. Rich heiress girls from Beverly Hills would be all over this. “Yeah, we love shopping with the speaker bag”.
