Sony Audio Car Speakers

I have a Sony 4x45W RMS CD/MP3 player. What speakers can I choose to go with the Sony? Can I choose 50W RMS speakers or RMS output of the speakers must be below the RMS value of the SONY? For example can I put 50W RMS speakers on the front and 45W RMS in the back?
Oh and one more thing...can I put speakers with built in tweeters in the back doors also?

yes you can use 50w rms speakers, why not put an amp in if your putting 4 speakers in? i dont suggest putting another set of splits in the rear doors as it will create too much tweeter noise, car audio is all about staging , you want the audio quality choose carefully where you place tweeters and your rear fill (rear speakers)

I have a 2002 Honda civic Dx Coupe and i was wondering what are good brand speakers that i could put in to replace my stock ones. I would like something that is inexpensive and the quality has to be good and something that has good bass also. Right now i have an aftermarket Sony xplod deck that i just bought a few days ago. I was thinking that Alpine speakers would work but im not sure.

Alpine has the best head units for the money, as far as the rest of the components go stick with JL or Alpine. They're great, reliable, and long lasting.

i have zen LX. i want to install sony woofer, tweeter, rear speakers. tell me the price. also if they will be compatible with blaupunkt dvd system.

First of all:Like most of them y Sony????When u can get JBL, Pioneer, Hertz etc....!!!!!!But its up to ya hearing......So let's go step by step:
1)Woofer:If Sony go for a Sony XS-L106P5(The best Sony subwoofer I hav heard,and good pricing)-Rs. 3,490 /- The specs:1200 watts peak, 330 watts RMS, Impedance-4 Ohms.
2)Tweeters: Sony XS-H20S-Rs. 1,990 /- The specs:Soft dome Tweeter,130 Watts peak, 40 watts RMS.
3)Rear Speakers:Sony XS-GTX69302-Rs. 3,990 /- The Specs: 400 Watts Peak, 100 watts RMS, 6 x 9 HOP Woofer Cone.
There is another one with a very nice price tag but great value for money that is the Sony XS-GTX61202L-Rs. 7,990 /-The specs-500W peak, 100W RMS, 4 Ohms.
4)Dont u need the front speakers????Go for a Sony XS-GTX16402-Rs. 3,490 /- The Specs:300W peak, 75W RMS.
5)Also if u are running a woofer better get an amp, I suggest a Sony XM-ZR6022- Rs. 3,990 /- The specs- 2 channel, 320W peak!
Lastly,the blaupunkt dvd will surely be compatible!!!!So, all this totals to:
Without the Sony XS-GTX61202L, Front speakers and amp = Rs.9,470/-
With the amp(recommended)=Rs.13,460/-
But the prices are approx.......I got it from my audio system dealer!!!!!!The prices may be lower or higher is ur area!!!
