Do home suround sound systems have speaker wire come with them? If not tell me what king I need?
Roadie helps Jared Warren of the Melvins plug his pedals, guitar and monitor speakers back in.

Hi. Whatever wire that comes with a complete system is usually thin and not good enough. Some people put their own wire together to save money as good cables don't come cheap.
In general the thicker the diameter of the wire the better the sound particularly if the cable is very long. Some people argue you can't hear any difference between cables but i disagree. If you are unsure it is best to buy cables already made. Monster cable is very popular but there are alternatives.I have been using Van Den Hul speaker wire for 23 years and get excellent results. See what other brands they have in your area.Try to keep the length of the wire as short as possible between the amp and the speakers. to minimize signal loss.

How Can i get Surround Sound with my Playstation 3?

i have it hooked up with the HDMI from the PS3 to my TV. However, my receiver doesn't have an HDMI port, it has optical and coaxial. I have the optical cord so i plugged that in from the receiver to the PS3, but I get no sound from my speakers just the TV. Do i have to change the settings or somethin....the picture is F**king soooo nice and I want the sound to go with it.....help me out!

Go to audio settings from the XMB and try auto-detect or whatever it's called. If that doesn't work then you will have to change the settings manually.

My first poem, sound of silence.?

The sound of scilence, empty and cold
The sound of waves, crashing to the shore
The sound of trees, swaying in the wind
The sound of birds, whistling in the trees
The sound of Monkeys howling, and lions roaring
The sound of man, the first words spoken
The sound of woman, the first to each other
The sound of shame, footsteps in the distance
The sound of building, trees falling and the frist destruction
The sound of community, as we first band together
The sound of cities, trade and languages of foreign tongues
The sound of Blacksmiths hammering and church bells ringing
The sound of trumpets, castles and kings, as they stood over the land
The sound of chaos, as war and anarchy ravaged the land
The sound of sails flapping in the wind.
The sound of Creativity and ingenuity
The sound of fading darkness, as art and science prevailed
The sound of music, as the notes dreamed from the composer's mind came to being.
The sound of death, as disease ravaged the land
The sound of slavery, as one man put himself over another
The sound of slaughter. Those who don't have what they want, take it
The sound of revolt. As rebellion and freedom came to be.
The sound of horses along cobblestone paths.
The sound of picks against rocks, and coughing workers
The sound of factories, steel on steel, and many men talking.
The sound of radios, one voice leading the world
The sound of motors, out with the old, and in with the new
The sound of television, flickering to life
The sound of bombs and gunfire, as lives are taken by the thousands
The sound of guitars strumming and drums drumming, opposing the death.
The sound of speakers, microphones and recording equipment, spreading the noise to every house and car in the world
The sound of cars, backed up in city streets.
The sound of phones ringing.
The sound of Lies and deceit, corruption and misinformation
The sound of hurt, as the world screams in agony
The sound of the oppressed, the broken and beaten, and the sound of those who want to return to science

I don't care if you like it, love it, hate it or just stopped reading half way through, I just want to hear why.
If you didn't catch it, the sound of hurt is 9/11

That was, how do I put it, very deep. But you know sometimes when something's so deep that no one can understand it but the author? You found a really good balance.

The only thing is that this would be really good if you changed the structure. It kinda gave me a headache to read 'the sound of' 50 times. It would take a lot of work, but I think it'd be worthwhile to change it so maybe only the first and last lines had 'the sound of.'

sometimes a word repeats, like land in
The sound of trumpets, castles and kings, as they stood over the land
The sound of chaos, as war and anarchy ravaged the land
You don't want to make two lines end in the same word and if possible, not even contain the same words. (except for words like 'and', 'the', etc. )

But I, as the reader, was able to catch on very quickly to where you where going with the timeline. I think it's a clever and though-provoking idea.

And one last thing - I think you mean 'and the sound of those who want to return to silence' at the end. ? If not, I think it would sound better.

Overall, awesome poem, great message.

Who Thinks Barack Obama Sounds Exactly Like Martin Luther King?

To me I think Obama has been practicing for years to sound just like M.L King-- He's a great speaker -I'll give him that , he'd be a great actor! I just have to really wonder- how much of what he says does he really mean-or is it a act? Im not buying it personally, since he doesnt have any solutions to his very powerful speeches to the problems in America. He is so good at pointing out that we need to change things over and over again? I just don't get it? How is it so many people are so gullible in America? Is it lack of common sense and education? What do you think is making so many people support him?
Maybe doesnt sound exactly, but I think he tries. King is much more dramatic and Im not saying Obama is anywhere near as powerful or as smart as the great M.Luther not my point. Also this has nothing to do with color! I wish people would treat people equal now its enough already- its history! Its liked switched - now the colored are prej. against the white people- we don't have a White History Month, or have TV specials about famous White people- why cant everything just be normal and not labeled White black Hispanic etc. I get so annoyed when I have to fill out a survey or application that asks race- isnt that there being racists asking that? .

I totally agree..!

Was hoping someone might be able to tell me why the following happens: when playing the recentish reissue of Aftermath by the Stones, the sitar on Mother's Little Helper is bearly audible; similarly, when I play Purple Haze (Cream 45) by Jimmy Jones and the King Casuals , the main, stonking guitar riff is bearly audible. Then there's the lack of drums on Howlin' Wolf's Evil (Cadet Concept 45), and the lack of sax on Idris Muhammad's Super Bad (BGP 45). Doesn't matter which deck or needle I use, or if I alter the levels on my mixer. Apart from these few exceptions, my other records seem to sound fine to my cloth ears. Was hoping someone might be able to tell me why the following happens: when...
