What causes my computer speakers to make a split-second electronic or music-type sound when I hit enter?

It is always the same sound...sort of a synthesizer/music "snippet" that sounds like it leaked into my sound system. It seems to happen most while browsing on Yahoo, especially on sites like "Weather Underground." It DOESNT happen in my players. Does this have anything to do with sound cards or drivers?

Probably it is a problem in the web-site. Whether see in the control panel there are no new programs which were installed from the Internet? Or propertys of a web site? May be spy-programm or troyan

What's the best car speaker for trance, house, electronic dance music?

Specifying what brand would be very helpful. Thanks!

your question is kind of hard to answer. are you asking about a subwoofer? if so then the brand or size doesnt matter much. its the enclosure that is important. subwoofers specialize in bass if u didnt know. and for your type of music I would suggest a sealed enclosure. sealed enclosures make for high sound quality bass that plays the loudest range. if you go with a ported box, then it will be louder, but only in a narrower range.

if you arent talking about subwoofers, then it doesnt really matter what speakers you use, because they are all made to handle the rest of the audio spectrum, no matter what type of music u listen to.

What to use to make your own electronic music?

I am a complete beginner to music making, and have no idea how to get started (I own a computer with decent microphone, speakers, and Windows XP Pro). Can someone recommend me a good PC program for beginners to start making their own Electronic/Dance music?

i thik you need sequencing software, this can be used with sounds and samples you download. search for some freeware or trials, freedownloadscentre and places have a few, i use logic, but its a bit intense for the beginner, you can plug any instrument straight into the computer if you want so its easy to just play around until you know what you want to do. youll probably have to pay something to get any kind of features in a full version of any sofware.

What bookshelf or indoor/outdoor speakers under $100 are good?

I'm just wondering, I want to get a new pair of bookshelf or indoor/outdoor speakers (something that can be hung on the wall) and I want to know what speaker will give me the best bass on a strict budget (under $100 per pair to be exact). I mostly use my speakers for clubbin/techno/dance/electronic type music and need to achieve the best bass without having a huge subwoofer in my tiny room. Any ideas?

Recently i have been interested in Techno/Dance/Electronic music. I am unsure if theres a difference between any of them, or if there mostly similar, but can anyone name any good songs for this genre?

  • 2009 San Francisco Electronic Music Festival

This September was the 10th anniversary of the San Francisco Electronic Music Festival , and I had the opportunity to attend two of the performances. To mark the occasion, many of the original participants in the first festival ten years ago came back to perform.

The festival began with a piece by Miya Masaoka (whom Pamela Z jokingly referred to as the “mother of SFEMF” in her introduction). The LED Kimono project not surprisingly featured a kimono with LEDs, worn by dancer Mariko Masaoka-Drew . The dress itself was very pretty and simple, with a large LED array on the right-hand sleeve. Throughout the performance, different patterns were featured on the LEDa, sometimes very subtle with only a few active, and at other times large oscillating rectangular patterns.
