Speakers For Music

But I do not know how to get rid of it! I hear music and newscasts that fade in and out when ever the speakers are turned on. No applications are running I have no idea where this is coming from.
Is there a way to look for a program that may have installed it self on my computer?
The speakers are fine, not wireless its something on my computer, how can I track it?

I've got a surround sound receiver that I just want to hook up with a couple old cabinets for some music in the garage. Can't seem to get good sound out of it no matter which speakers outputs I use. Can I use this like a plain old receiver?

You should hook up the speakers two the two main front speakers (L and R). You should get good sound, so if it isn't good, I would suspect the speakers not the receiver.

I have an Acer Aspire 7112 with XP Media Centre if that helps, and when I plug in the external speakers the music still comes out of the laptop and not the speakers. Where do I go to change the settings so the audio is external and not out the laptop speakers?

Ok try this! once u ev connected ur speakers go to > control panel > then go on to 'sounds and audio device' > then click on 'advance' in the speaker setting section. > then click on the list under speaker setup n u will see a list of which speaker setting u need it to be as so select wht is suitable in ur case!! well hope this helps.

Definitely! by simply turning on a light switch [in most cases]. Something like a static discharg gives off a unwanted feedback that is based upon the current flow and it is kind of like a back braft or overflow, being that the amp will save itself from blowing [likly due to the fuse in it], it will discharge the current just as a fire is looking for a way out [backdraft], to the nearest external source. this is the same with the current looking for an exit and it escapes from the speakears, if the current or discharge is high being that speakers carry a sensitivity limit, and the discharge is more than the sensitivity limit than they will blow. This works the same with plugging in the wrong channel[s] or turning off a source that requres the amp or receiver to be turned off first instead, there are many ways.

Right now I 'm looking for some speakers that perform exceptionally well for music. Because I have finally grown tired of the built in speakers in my laptop.

So far from looking online i really liked the logitech z-2300 but from reading reviews here and there its apparent they are not good for music, but rather games.

Anyone help me here please? I could use some advice.
