I have a 2004 TJ, there are no speakers in the sound bar right now. Im going to buy some tomorrow, so im wondering what size fits best....thanks!

Sound bars are really new technology for speakers and have become popular because they match your TV so well and most can be connected directly to your TV which is easy to set up and requires no other equipment. The downside is that the quality of sound is poor compared to really good full home theater systems that have 7 speakers and a subwoofer. Plus and amplifier. It really is the preferred option for most people but be prepared to spend more to get that convenience.

I need to know what the difference is between the 2 types of technology when it comes to live sound band music. I had found a GLI Pro PVX9000 10,000 watt power amp DJ rack amp, thought this what we wanted to be able to support the sound wattage and improve the sound quality when we perform live in bars our type of music is old school rock, metal & heavy metal, but after talking to a bar owner who runs sound himself stated DJ equipment is unable to be used, why?
Angel - DJ and live sound equipment are not much different. I am a DJ and live sound guy and I use the same equipment for both. DJ amps and speakers can be used for live sound. A DJ mixer cannot be used for live sound (not enough mic inputs). The bar owner is partly right.
I would NOT recommend the GLI Pro amp though. There is a lot of cheaply made sound equipment that is marketed to DJ's that is pure junk. If you need a cheap power amp that is really well made:

I've been reading up on these bars and I'm wondering if any one could Direct me to sites that really get into the nuts and bolts of how they perform and the many ways you can use them in ether a Stereo or surround sound system.say can you use they along with 2 pair of tower speakers(front and back) to create a simulated surround sound system?
If you are talking about soundbars like the Yamaha YSP series then the soundbar IS real surround sound. Even though there are no speakers behind you the soundbar uses the walls to reflect sound in a way that places the effects in the right location. In that case there is no need to add speakers and in fact no way to direct the correct sound to those speakers if you did. The soundbars are most effective of course in certain types of rooms but between the setup and auto calibration they now have they are pretty versatile.
if i buy all of these things i just want to know if sound will come out of all of them when hooked up to my TV, playstation 3, and 360
I would use one or the other. Soundbars are meant to imitate a 5.1 surround sound system. But I personally would just go with a good 5.1 setup.
