I was playing a game online, and the volume coming from my speakers was really weird! The volume doesn't sound like it's coming out right. It sounds like some old speakers that don't work right. My speakers are fine, and the volume control is all good. Somehow there's a weird program installed in my computer called Realtek, and it's some sort of HD Audio Manager. Could the problem be there?

They sound with a static noise and when i try to record music with my mic it gets a another weird noise.

My computer speakers have been sounding weird for a few days now. I first noticed it when the MSN pop-ups that are accompanied with _ting_ sounds went a pitch higher and were a bit blurred.
My speakers are really old so I took them out and got them replaced with brand new ones. And still, the sound is really weird. All my music sounds like its blurred and coming from a distant place or smth.
Any ideas?
if it is an onboard sound card check through the s/ware setup you may have a tick in the wrong box,
See if there is an updated driver.
Sound is not really something to diag you need to hear it. Lets hope that there is someone who has had this problem before, out there.

Frankly, I think the Thread Starter is making his assumptions based on some low end creatives. The only creatives he mentioned here are <$50 and lower end creatives are not that great and one can get decent speakers in Intex for a similar price. Intex is not trash as far as speakers are concerned, they have some decent sounding speakers (especially the ones with the wooden enclosures). So people on a budget might as well get high end Intex than the low end creatives. Of course they are no match for the Altec Lansing or the better creatives. Without knowing anything about speakers i bought the intex 2.0 speaker for the first time in the year 2001 to club it with the sound card which m currently...
