Stereo Music Speakers

I want to be able to play music on my stereo speakers that I have outside (wired or wireless is fine) but they are big stereo speakers and I don't know how I would connect them or if the computer has enough power to sound decent on them. Help?

If you pull too much power through your sound card to your speakers, you risk burning out the circuitry in the card. Also if you cannot drive the speakers, you risk hurting them too. It is best to use your computer as a music server to a receiver that powers the speakers. The receiver usually has enough power through it's internal amp to power the speakers. You could also push an amp with your computer, but you'd get deeper sound through a receiver IMO.

Route the audio from your sound card into your aux in connection on your receiver.

After you set up stereo speakers in you school music room, you notic that in certain areas of the room the sound front the speakers is very loud adn in other areas the sound is very soft. Please explain how interference causes this.

It may be that the speakers are out of phase which can happen if the terminals are hooked up backwards on one speaker and correctly on the other. That can set up an interference pattern as the speaker cones are driven exactly opposite one another, allowing the blended sounds to cancel each other out. But if set up properly, that should not happen, unless the recording you are playing produces the same effect.

as opposed to the pc speakers?

what do you need to do for this? connections/hardware?

my cd deck is broken so i figured i'd try playing my music through my computer but wanted the stereo speakers for the output sound.

i have a packard bell pc and on the power units rear there is an orange and blue coloured circular socket. Would they be anything?

please help if you can.

How do i get music coming from my computer monitor (monitor stereo speakers built in) and not my headphones?
Ive tried fiddling about with the sound and audio devices area to no anvil so I set the options back to where they where before.

there should be a jack on our monitor, it will look like a headphone jack, u plug in a 1/8 cable from there to your coumpter, if it does not have that jack then it does not have speakrs

buy a Y cable connect one end to ur computer, and the other two to ur stereos AUX input
