Stereo Speakers Fabric

I dripped wax on boyfriend's stereo speaker. On the fabric on front. Any ideas how to remove before I am out on the street.

Try this! Lunch sack or brown paper bag agaist the wax. Run a warm hot iron over the bag. The wax should melt enough to stick to the bag and then you just peel the wax away

I had that tart in the warmer and bumped it and it spilled was all over the stereo speaker I had the warmer on top of. How the heck do I get it off the fabric?? I used my nails to scratch off the think stuff, but it is still on it.

if it's possible to put the fabric into the freezer do that and then it should come off easier - if not then put a double layer of paper towel on the wax and use a iron on low setting on the paper towel - the wax will be drawn into the paper towel

funny thing is....its actually called "box carpet" lol. it comes in different colors and u can usually find it at any upholstery/fabric shop. if not, Crutchfield stocks it in many colors...

Candle wax has ran down the frount of one of my stereo speakers. How can I get the wax off without risking damage to the speaker itself?

You need to melt it out while absorbing it with something else. I took a fabric making class and we put wax on fabric before dyeing it to create patterns.

We put newspaper over the fabric and ironed it to remove the wax. The newspaper on bottom needs to be changed regularly for maximum absorbency. In addition, make sure you have a thick stack with clean top papers or you'll ruin your iron.
