Can a 2004 Mazda 3 stock stereo system power replacement speakers, nicely? Maybe Kicker or Polk Audio?
Lil Romeo Master P's Vehicle 1

Stock stereo, 6-disc in dash CD player, 6 speaker system(4 6x8's leg level in front and rear doors, 2 eye level tweeters in front doors). I am no audiophile, nor a tech-spert. I think I have a blown front 6x8, and just want to replace them all, with some good thump, but can plug and play in the stock system/location. You are all the best!

yes and no.
the radio will send enough wattage for the speakers to play at moderate to low volumes but when you start to crank the volume past halfway they will sound distorted because the radios internal amp will be overworking itself trying to supply the necessary wattage, for best result you would need a amp on them

How Do I HooK Up a VCR, DVD Player, and my TV so that the sound comes from my Stereo System Speakers?
Lil Romeo Master P's Vehicle 2

Here is what I have:

***An older TV with only the coaxial cable outlet
***NO DIGITAL CABLE BOX
***A DVD Player with red/white/yellow RCA plugins
***A VCR with only white and yellow plugins

I want the sound from the TV, VCR, and DVD player to be able to come through the speakers on my stereo system. How do I connect all the wires?

Thanks for the help.

I have a similar setup. I hook my cable TV to my VCR/DVD player (it's both) which I then run a coaxial cable from to my TV, and hook my VCR up to my receiver with red white and yellow RCA cables. Your receiver should have multiple inputs on it so you could do it that way, you'd just need to have your DVD player and VCR hooked up separately via RCA cables. The way I've done it allows me to just have the TV on (the VCR/DVD player allows the cable signal through even if it's off) and also allows me the option of having anything in my room come out of the surround sound speakers (including my computer which is also hooked up with RCA cables). Hope this helped, good luck!

Can you put house stereo system speakers in your car?
Lil Romeo Master P's Vehicle 5

If so how and would you need an amp if they are really big speakers?

Usually no not without some trouble. Most home speakers are 8 ohm and most car stuff set to run 2 or 4 ohm. It could turn into a big headache.

Can you use wireless computer speakers in another room and hook up to your home stereo system?
Lil Romeo Master P's Vehicle 3

I'd like to get my husband a wireless surround sound speaker system in the same room as our tv/stereo for Christmas. AND be able to play all of our cds that have been downloaded to our computer.

I'm a little confuesd by the wording of the question, but i think this will help.

if you want to be able to play your music from your comptuer to your home theator (stereo) system and you have a wireless network you might want to try the soundbridge 1001, it will let you stream to your stero reciever wirelessly or via cat 5 cable and control from the soundbridge unit. However it can NOT play music purchased from the iTunes store. If you want to be able to use music from the iTunes store you need to get a Airport express (w/ air tunes) from apple. The airport express is wireless or throught cat 5 as well and can also be used as a print server if you so desire (i use it for both) If you get an airport and want to stream like rhapsody to your speakers you can get a program called airfoil that will stream i believe any music source to your airport express. The only downside is you must control the music selection from the computer, but it will play anywhere in your house. It looks like from the airfoil program page shows that you can stream rhapsody or any other music sources to the airport express. The music quality is excilent from the airport express, and as for the soundbridge, its ok. Also if you have a reciever or amp for each set of speakers you could hook an airport up to each one and then choose which one to play through or just select certain ones (multipul or all) to play at the same time. Also if you go visit a bestbuy w/ a magnolia home theator center in it they can be a great help for answering spacific questions. Hope this helps!

How do I play internet radio through my stereo system speakers?
Lil Romeo Master P's Vehicle 6

I have a Dell - is there an "audio out" connection? How do I do this?

Connect the audio out to a pair of input jacks on the back of your receiver. Then, on your receiver, select that input as the source to be played. If you have the internet radio playing on your computer, that should work. (You might want to refer to the instruction manuals you have for your stereo receiver and computer for more information.)
