Surround Sound Speakers Mounts

I need to know if its possible to somehow use something like glue that would get removed. In other words is there anything that i can use to not destroy my wall..

3M has some crazy tapes and glues. if you have a small, light, cube speaker, buy the mount but use 3m double sided mounting tape. It's widely used in computer and game console modding to hold in windows. It's strong and will come off without ripping your wall. If you have a big speaker, you'll need some of 3m's strong stuff. I'm talking about the tapes that'll rip out your wall if you want to take the speaker off. Other than that, i dont know what else could hold big speakers.

you put the speakers ON the mounts

so one emits sound, the other is just a piece of wood (typically)

I know how to put them on the wall but how am I suppose to mount my speakers to the speaker mount? One of my speakers weight 2-3 lbs. So how exactly do the speakers fit to the mount?

There's usually a threaded hole or post on the back of surround speakers that allow you to attach the speaker to the mount. If not, then you have to set them on a stand or shelf. I would contact the seller with your model number of your speakers and ask if they're compatible with the mount. If not or he can't tell, then don't buy them. If so, then ask how the speakers get attached to the mounts.

My husband bought surround sound speakers for our tv, and there doesn't seem to be a way to mount them. Right now they are ON our wall, and the cords are on the wall too... it just looks bad. How can I fix this?

We were thinking of putting shelves on the wall, and having the speakers rest on them. However that doesn't solve the problem with the ugly cords.

Look rear of speakers what type of hooking system they have, you can use wall mount brackets or simply drill the drywall, plastic expansion and a screw ( very simple) .
To solve the wires problem:
Pick the final location of speakers, same distance and symmetric, depending on width of wire, draw two lines along the wires should run(pencil) with a very sharp handy man knife cut the drywall and with a flat screw driver make like a canal along the wall.Insert cables and cover with drywall paste, let dry, sand paper, and paint again.
Look my back surround, I did it that way, takes some little work but all wires are concealed,except the wires that run trough the wall corners which are painted.

The smaller the speaker the better and there will be four speakers in the ceilingin the television room and an additional two in the kitchen.

Hi. KEF make very good in ceiling speakers .What speakers are you using for you main left ,right,center arrangement .You want them to blend in with the sound if possible I don't know what your budget is which makes it hard to suggest one .Anyway here are a few to check out.
