Tv Audio Speakers

I want to connect my (dvd, xbox, and tv) audio to my speakers(klipsch thx two speakers with a subwoofer) they all use the same normal audio cables. What is the connector called and how much am I looking to spend?

They are called RCA plugs. The red and white ones are for the left and right and the yellow one is for video. Probably only about $10 or less unless you want the gold tipped ones which run about $20 and supposedly have better performance.

TV is a Sharp 19in LCD HDTV (model # LC-19SK24U)
Home Theatre System is a RCA 5 Disc ( model # RTD206)

Looking over the specs for both items I see a potential problem with this. Sharp lists a digital audio output for the TV, but in the information I can finds does not have a analog output. Compounding the issue is the RCA htib you listed has limited inputs and only allows for one analog audio input, no others.

My conclusion is that you will not be able to use your surround system with this TV. You will need to replace most likely the surround system and make sure it has a digital audio input. Configure your audio in the TVs settings and enjoy.

I have a Vizio TV and onkyo receiver with speakers attached via the reciever. When I use the TV as the sole source the sound comes out from the TV speakers. When I select HDMI input, the audio/video comes from the receiver and the TV speakers go dead.

Is there any way to get sound from both the receiver speakers AND the TV speaker (for the center channel)?

There is no way to get sound at the same time.

I have a Samsung TV. It has to audio outputs, one is optical, one is the RCA, or the red and white cables, I don't know what to call them. My surround sound speaker system has a RCA or red and white input. I need to know what you call the cable that would connect my TV to my surround sound, and it would help to know where to buy it. Or tell me if I need something else.

OK. So can I hook my TV up to the speakers so that the audio comes out of the speakers instead of the TV? I have already used to adapter to get the speakers to work with my DVD player and PS2. Im just wondering is it frikkin possible for the TV audio to be routed to the speakers. Thanks.

On most TV's using the audio out doesn't shut off the internal speakers. Unless your TV has a variable audio out turning down or up the volume on the TV will have no effect on the audio signal coming out the audio outs, so you will have to control the speaker volume through the the Logitech speakers...but they should work fine.
