White Surround Sound Speakers

I need some white surround sound speakers, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of them that aren't super expensive. I am thinking about getting the Logitech Z-5500, which I have installed for other people, used and love, and just install some white speakers instead of the black/silver ones that come with it and use the console and sub from the z-5500. That seems like it would work well, but I would rather just get a entire white system. Any suggestions from people who own white surround sound systems? If not, any other people input would be must appreciated. Sorry for not explaining all this very well, I'm in a hurry. Thanks!

I wanted a white bose theatre sound speakers,one part because they come in bright white which would match my entertainment setup and 2nd because I hear they are good quality speakers. Though some say they are overpriced which I agree but what other option do I have. I could paint the housing on other speakers but I cant paint the screens could I. And what other speakers are just as good but cheaper?

I have a HD TV which has crackly speakers so I bought a set of virtual surround sound speakers. they have input for the red and white jacks/plugs only. Now I have a PS3 and i've tried every way to get the PS3 sound to the speakers instead of the TV.
Is there a box that i can plug the ps3 HDMI cable into and output hdmi to my tv and audio to the speakers?
Or is there another solution?

Easy money. Ok, the PS3 came with a set of cables, red blue yellow green and white. Run your HDMI into your TV. Run those supplied cables into your surround sound (only the red and white). Go to system settings and select audio output, set your PS3 to use the av cables for sound and HDMI for picture.

Ive just received a new surround sound speaker system that is quite old but very good quality, It has a rca (red and white) to input my xbox 360, tv and pc. Is there a way to connect them all to the same system? What will i need? Thankyou very much

The only way is connect your XBox and TV to a surround receiver and use its input selector. Buying an input selector alone wont do you any good if it doesnt have an amp to power the speakers.

I have my HDTV, PS2, PS3, DVD, satelite box, DVR and xBox all running thru my Onkyo, and works awesome.

So if you dont have a surround receiver, then you will need to get one. Good luck.

santa got me some lovely surround sound speakers for crimbo...however...they don't come with red, yellow, white audio thing. all i've got is metres of speaker cable which is easy to stick in the back of the speakers but how do i hook it up to the tv? please don't tell me i need an amp!!!

sorry you need a receiver to run the speakers.

to start your first "home theater system" you will be able to add a center channel, rear speakers and a sub to that as well. Obviously you will be able to play your TV, comp, CD, DVD, video games through it as well
