I want the speakers in the other room to also be able to play music on. I want something I can send the audio wireless over there and that will not disable the speakers hooked up to my pc
If it can support surround sound that would be better.
also if you could allow it to only play audio from a player like windows media player and not play audio from an internet browser.
something of a reasonable price.
thanks

It would require iTunes, but the price is reasonable and you can put any speakers you want into it. Plus, it will share any printer and it's a Wifi access point. Only a hundred bucks too.

My Inlaws have an old TV with no RCA outs, they bought a new DVD/ VCR player, but the TV will not audio out, just the DVD/Tape can anybody help me here? They have a set of wireless speakers they want hooked up, but want them on for TV use as well.
Go to Radio shack and buy an RF modulator. This will allow you to connect the DVD/VCR to the TV.
Since the TV has no audio out, there is nothing you can do for the speakers. Perhaps, provided the VCR can drive those speakers, you can connect them to the VCR audio out. But better to get an AV receiver.

I just purchased two Audio Research AW811 wireless speakers. Each came with a transmtter. Can I run both from one transmitter?
If the speakers are on the same frequency as the transmitter. However, I would assume that if each had its own transmitter they could be different frequencies for left and right.

I have a question about this product (Cables Unlimited Audio Unlimited SPK-VELO-W...) sold by Amazon. The price seems OK but I wonder if anyone here has any experience with this speakers and what you think about the speakers?
I think it's a great product! I think it’s a very good product for most of us “regular” people that don't want to spend over $500 for a set of speakers!
I have a macbook with wifi and bluetooth built in - and I want the audio to play on my home theatre - is there a nifty gadget to bridge these two systems? I do not want to buy wireless speakers, but instead a bluetooth or wifi receiver that will plug into the auxiliary input. is there such a device? Note Apple airtunes only plays music out of itunes I think, i want any application to work.
Check out the link below, I hope it's what you're asking...or close to it.

The good news is that you can put all your music and podcasts and audio books on one iPod and take it with you everywhere you go. The bad news is that if you wanted to share that music or those podcasts with anyone else, you’d have to carry an iPod speaker system with you from room to room. Of course you have other options available, but they’re not cheap. Now you have a solution that is simple to setup, sounds good and best of all it’s affordable.
The EOS Wireless Audio System starts with a base station that holds your iPod, any iPod, with an auxiliary audio-in port for other audio sources. The base station has a solid set of speakers built in and come with a remote that allows you to control your iPod and the volume of speakers on the base station only, not the satellite speakers.
