Speaker advice needed. We want to play music from a laptop to different rooms.Good wireless speakers?
Ellie Fletcher - Crystal Fighters

Not sure what the best way of doing this is - wireless would be ideal in terms of being able to put the speakers anywhere - this is mainly for a party, but want to be able to use them afterwards. We have a reasonable hifi in one room and a cheaper hifi in another. Can we use the existing amps, do we need new ones. Would like to have reasonable quality and spend less than £400. thanks

Since you are going out of your computer, you have some more options available. Basically, you can send the signal wireless to any room and then have the amp run it from there.

How can I wirelessly play + control music from my pc laptop through my networked desktop speakers?
IMG_7966

I have my iTunes library on my desktop but would like to be able use that as a music server when I am working on my laptop. This means I want to be able to play and control my music through the laptop but have playback come through the desktop speakers. I have searched extensively for solutions to this simple idea but cannot find any. Help would be much appreciated.

Laptop music -> Wireless Router -> Desktop Speakers???

you cant, unless you are using a remote management program.
