What does it say about the Republican Party when two of the more talked about conservatives are a talk radio?

host, and a beauty contestant. I mean, they get more talk around here than ALMOST all other republicans/conservatives, except Bush and Cheney.
Is this another example of why Alan Keyes is vital for any Republican resurgence, or resurrection??

Thanks!
does asking this question make me a liberal, or Obama lover??

Yes, they are the most talked about.... you see, most of the talking is done by people who want to know what celebrities think, not what politician's think. That's why all of Hollywood is running the country right now.

Edit - I didn't think you expressed why this is happening or judged who was doing it, so I didn't think it makes you a liberal or an Obama lover. It is factual that most of the talk is done by liberals and they do focus more on celebrities than on substance, so this shouldn't be surprising really.

Was anyone listening to Night Owls on Metro Radio last night?

It was a ghost hunt special last night in a castle and there was one bit when two women were in a room where a couple of children had seen there parents killed horrifically (hundreds of years ago of course). Alan Robson (the presenter) said that people had heard little children whispering in this room. The two women didn't seem to be able to hear much, but through the radio I could distinctly hear little children whispering and chatting. There were also bits of loud but smooth feedback. Did anyone else listening hear this or am I going mad?

It's Radio. They can do what ever they want and have you believe it.

part 4 you might be a redneck if…?

Foreplay consists of slipping off her saddle.
Ya can't get married to your sweetheart because there is a law against it.
You celebrate Groundhog Day (because ya believe in it!!)
You've been on TV more than 5 times describing the sound of a tornado.
You fish in your above-ground pool, especially if you catch something!
When a sign that says "Say No To Crack!" reminds you to pull up your jeans.
Helping your cousin, Billy-Bob, move into his new place consists of taking the wheels off his doublewide.
Your beer can collection is considered a tourist attraction in your home town.
You wake up with both a black eye and a hickey.
Getting a package from your post office requires a full tank of gas in the truck.
"Buck Naked Line Dancing" isn't a videotape, it's "Ladies Night" at the local bar.
Your wife wants to stop at the gas station to see if they've got the new Darrell Waltrip Budweiser wall clock.
You dated your daddy's current wife in high school.
You're moved to tears every time you hear Dolly Parton singing "I Will Always Love You".
Dolly Parton reminds you of the `Grand Tetons'.
Your Momma would rather go to the racetrack than the Kennedy Center.
The most serious loss from the earthquake was your Conway Twitty record collection.
You actually made a pyramid of cans in the pale moonlight with Alan Jackson.
You have spent more on your pickup truck than on your education.
You've ever hit a deer with your car... on purpose!
You can tell your age by the number of rings in the bathtub.
Your mom gives you tips on how to sneak booze into sporting events.
You've ever parked a Camero in a tree.
Exxon and Conoco have offered you royalties for your hair.
Your dad is also your favorite uncle.
You own more than three shirts with the sleeves cut off.
You've ever yelled "Rock the house Bubba!" during a piano recital.
You were taught to put your underwear on yellow in front, brown behind.
You buy two CB radios so you can talk to yourself.

haha, i love those

What is the relationship between 911 and Saddam?

I think Hillery Clinton summarized Saddam's relationship with 9/11 best ..
In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members. It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons."
Sen. Hillary Clinton (D, NY), Oct 10, 2002
As a sanctuary and an aid to al qaeda the threat of WMD including nuclear possibilities made him an important target for the well being of the US and the world. Afghanistan alone is not a threat , it did not have the capabilities of Iraq which is why both areas became targets..
