I own a pair of Magnovox talkies, and recently the batteries died. So, I was wondering if I could put them into a Energizer wall charger to charge them up. Is that possible?
It's possible. Depends on the battery type. First, they have to be rechargeable. If not, well, you can't recharge what can't be recharged. Next, they've got to be the standard size for the charger. If not, well... you're starting to get the ideo.

Hi there,I just bought a pair of Motorola walkie/talkie radios.Model #KEAD-199.It says to use sx700 batteries,but the owner said I could use AAA.Will these batteries burst?I can't use the rechargeable kind because these are to be taken camping?Please advise, and Thanks in advance for the kind help.
I would love you use solar..Budget won't allow for it this year,Thanks for the suggestion .
Ideally you need the SX700's to get longer use, regular AAA's run out faster so you will have to take several packs.
Would you consider using a solar powered charger for the NiMh batteries?
