Commercial Two Way Radio

Well, you can't really get a multipurpose 2-way radio, but you can get a scanner that can receive only. Radio shack usually carries them if you want to get one quick to play with, but I would do a lot of research before selecting a scanner, including looking up the frequencies of your local PD, airports, etc and making sure to get a scanner that covers them all. Also, a lot of large depts like police use trunking radios, and you'd need a certain (more expensive) scanner to make sure you could hear those.

There is a McDonald's radio commercial that has two guys talking about what would be better than eating a McDonald's fish sandwich and one of them says "listening to ???????? while eating them?" WHAT IS HE SAYING?

I know about the different frequencies, but what are the different component within the two different radios?

Most police radios are on the VHF-FM band of 130 to 180 megahertz, with some radios capable of producing and receiving a scrambled signal for privacy reasons. Police radios can also use tones to rpovide an almost limitless range of frequencies, altough tones do not provide privacy.

Commercial AM radio stations broadcast in the 535 kilohertz to 1,700 kilohertz range, and FM in the 92 kilohertz to 108 megahertz range.

I've seen this commercial on HBO (In India) countless times - its starts with some people with their feet over the dock and all of a sudden, music starts playing and their feet start moving the music - the commercial continues to show different people tapping their feet to the same song (construction workers, a girl in bed, some kids, etc) and at one point a teenager starts doing the moonwalk to the chorus part - it ends with 3 kids sitting on a bench listening to the song and nodding their heads to it and finally suggesting they change the radio station to another song - the words to the first song have 'Chak De' in them but it is NOT Chak De India! The Commercial is for Satellite FM Radio on mobile phones and the kids are listening to the song on their phones. If anyone could help me, I'd like to know the names of the two songs played in that commercial - I'm pretty sure its in Hindi but it could be Gujurati too - THANK YOU

This is for an IT company. They provide help for large companies so that they don't have to pay one single IT tech's salary. I am very creative, but am having a really tough time with this.

Try reflecting and understanding the fears of kids that didn't go to college -- perhaps they can't afford it or don't believe they could ever do it -- talk about the decent pay and maybe mention some sucess stories.

Hope this is a seed that gives you a seed to sprout a great commericial!
