Compact Two Way Radio

Does AudioVox GMRS two way radios, slim line design come in more then seven miles? I need 18 mile...

Be advise that these radios, regardless of how many miles it says it can go up to, NEVER live up to it's advertised promise. Even when used on the high power channels, which requires an FCC license before operating, is good for no more than a few city blocks in the city. In open terrain, it may get the maximum distance.

It's a good radio with acceptable range. I seriously doubt that you'll get 10 miles. Please note the fine print: "* Up to 10 mile range under optimum conditions" You will seldom use the radio under "optimum conditions" so don't expect the 10 mile range. Also pay attention to the fact that you need a FCC license for this radio.

I have been breaking my back for the past two weeks for at least 8 hours a day at the computer trying to find a new car. I finally found one i like with accaptable miles on it. My boyfriend said he heard on the radio that with the way the economy is today sales are going down so people who are in sales are not making as much money so if you go to buy something with cash you can pretty much call the shots. The car i want is a Dodge Avenger SXT.

Offer them $13000. How many weeks has said car been on the lot. If you are smart, offer them that amount at the end of the month.

There is a little known fact about Portsmouth Football Club. This year's FA Cup finalists have only won the competition once, but they held the trophy for the longer than any other team in its history.

Such was the fate of the 1939 cup winners, who triumphed 4-1 over Wolves.

Portsmouth's only FA Cup glory, under legendary manager Jack Tinn, saw them become custodians of football's most famous trophy for the next six years while World War II was fought.

Back-to-back football league titles followed in 1949 and 1950 but since then times, as they say, have been tough.

When Cardiff City reached this year's cup final, they probably expected to meet a team whose pedigree far outweighed their own, a team with Premier League trophies in the cabinet or European dates to distract them.

Not so. Portsmouth's relegation in 1959 meant 44 years of relative obscurity, which saw their league status dip as low as the old fourth division, at which time the glamour of an FA Cup final would have seemed a long way away.

Both Cardiff and Portsmouth will carry the weight of a recent trophy-less history on their shoulders when they run out at Wembley.

But these are changing times for the south coast city.

as a welshman,i must admit i dont follow Cardiff CITY.i am however a loyal LFC supporter but as i dont live far from Cardiff i will be supporting them naturally.i have put £10.s on the Bluebirds to win the cup 2-1.

All you will get typically is 2 miles or so. This is maximum range under very controlled conditions. Mostly marketing hype.
