Digital Two Way Radio

Does anyone know how to troubleshoot the Digital Dash for an 86 z31? When I turn it on the Tach and Speedometer flash for a split second and never come back on again, also I can get the unit to run through it's diagnostic with some intructions I found online. Any Ideas?

What are the strongest speakers I can use with the Stock Radio?

Analog is cheaper but we cannot see frequencies on LCD.

Digital is more expensive and we can see frequencies on LCD.

Can you tell me what are pros and cons of the two?

I recently bought a DAB digital radio/cd player but I am unhappy with the reception that I am getting on either DAB or FM using the existing telescopic arial, due I think, to surrounding buildings. I have a perfectly good outside radio mast arial but no means of attatching it to the radio other than the DAB socket. Is there an adapter that I can buy to join the two and will it work?

my dab wont work downstairs properly, but reception is great upstairs.. if the 'dab socket' is for a aerial, then try:

I love music and my heart has told me to get into that industry, but there are two major downsides. Digital radio is becoming increasingly popular so not too much room for radio deejays down here and the second downfall is that i am deathly afraid of speaking in front of people and deejays do a lot of promotional work. the second choice is law, i LOVE law i love everything about it and i would be going into paralegal studies so i can do some behind the scenes work Which i love. Im just so confused as what to do. i need some tips on both professions to get a good feel.

Warning> Jobs in the field of Law are drying up fast!! This is just not a good field to invest time and/or money into. This is a SHRINKING vocational field. Many reasons. Many people today (mistakenly) think they can do their own legal work, thanks to the Internet. Also, we simply already have way too many Legal Professionals - we have an absolute glut!! ("Legal Professionals" includes, but is not limited to: Attorneys/Lawyers, Paralegals, Legal Assistants, Legal Secretaries, Bailiffs, Court Reporters, etc, etc)

Regarding being a Paralegal: Employers (usually law firms) in the field of Law today want employees with Bachelors degrees from traditional colleges/universities. Those "certificates" you see advertised aren't worth the paper they are printed on - they are generally scams. (I found this out the hard way.)

Be prepared to take on a lot of debt.

Even if you finish law school, you won't be able to find a job when you are done. Since this vocational field is shrinking, many new attorneys/lawyers are, themselves, having to work "down" as Paralegals, Legal Assistants, Legal Secretaries, Bailiffs, Court Reporters, etc, etc, to simply try to keep some of their bills paid <<this would be your competition. And the competition is fierce!!

Now... the law schools know this, but they won't tell you the truth >that the job market/economy is just saturated with way too many Legal Professionals. Instead the schools will feed you a fairytale and will lie to you. The root of the problem is we have too many law schools. We are in a recession, and the schools are fighting for their own survival - they will tell students anything to get to the students' money. (Which is why they won't tell you the truth about the job market for the field of Law.) And these schools continue to recruit and churn out even more graduates.............

If you don't believe me, then just do a search here on Yahoo Answers to see what other posters are saying about the current status of the field of Law. Call some local law firms - ask to speak to the Manager of Human Resources - ask them if they are hiring; ask them what they think about job availability in the field of Law..................

About 38,000 students graduate >each year< from the 200+ law schools in the United States. The competition is very keen for jobs and clients." - Even Associate Justice Antonin Scalia (who served on the U.s. Supreme Court for more than 20 years) says there are too many lawyers. (9/14/2008)

I've got a digital alarm clock/radio and two mornings last week I got up at the wrong time cos the time was out.

When I went to bed last night at 1.50am, I set it half an hour fast to 2.20am, but when I got up this morning it was an hour fast.

Can digital clocks go fast? I didn't think they could...
Am I doing something in my sleep?
Is my clock gubbed?
Sal - does that mean I need a new clock?
Not a new clock - power supply fine, normal household leccy.

Kev - I did wonder if it was paranormal ;)

Oban - it certainly does - just checked and it's now an hour and 10 mins fast...
Allen - had the clock a good few years, just started to go funny Thurs night/Friday morning. I'm intriged by your 'ball clock' now lolol.

Maybe it's just time for me to get a new one...
Bunches - I think I will. Can't be doing with getting up over an hour early now, can I?? lol.

Or you could have a ghost that comes in just to mess about with your alarm clock.....
