GPS & Walkie Talkies in Morocco -- ??????????

If you know anything about this please let me know. I've heard that GPS is illegal in some countries as it is still seen by many as high tech military gear. Is it illegal in Morocco?

Walkie talkies -- I heard these are illegal in some countries because they could interfere with police and rescue radios etc. What about in Morocco?

I'm not really planning anything with any of these but would like to know anyway as I was going around some travel sights and read about it I started to wonder.


Each country sells equipment that is legal in their nation. What they are selling there is what is legal in their nation. They may NOT be using the same frequencies that are used in the USA. Many radio look similar to those legal in the USA.

Sorry... I couldn't find specifics on their regulations.

What does the regular infantryman carry?

I know he carries a total of 120 5.56x45mm NATO rounds (4X magazines of 30 rounds) in his FLC - correct me if I'm wrong

and what re some non technological methods of communication?


some tech methods are email, voicemail, instant messaging.. and now everyone has a cell phone and you can speak anyway. before you cant even leave your house. even at that the regular land line telephones are a technological method of communication.

Is the i880 worth getting?

I already have a cell phone that's a 2001 version. It's basically a small size cell phone, but that's basically the only convinience. I know that the i880 from Nextel has GPS, MP3, walkie talkie, blue tooth headset accessible, and camera, but what other features does this thing have that I haven't listed to make me want to buy it?


The 860,870 and the 880 are almost similar all have the same things you mention and i don't think nothing else worth buying the 880 that you will not get on the 870.
