Please help me find a clear 2-prong headset for walkie talkie!?

I just got a job with security at a local club. We are given walkie talkies (commercial ones) but we must buy our own headsets. Everyone there has the clear curly headset cord that just pops in your hear. (you know the ones the secret service where) i have been to every store in town and havent found a thing, I even tried inline and have still failed to find the clear 2-pronged headset. Please help me find a link lol.. I must go into work again tommorow :/

You can't. You'll need to buy something different. Try Radio Shack.

Where could I find a walkie talkie set that has a headset and maybe even hands free and not bulky?

A few friends and I go dirtbike riding every weekend and we quite often get split up and have to waste riding time with trying to find each other. I was just wonder if that have walkie talkies out that aren't to expensive but that has a headset and maybe even hands free so we don't have to stop to communicate. The hands free don't have to be a priority just headset. All we would need would be 5 - 10 miles.


Many radio sets include headsets with a voice operation function.

throught mics are expensive and the cheap one are exactly that
but what i did is went to radio shack and bought a set that had a PTT
peace mic and ear piece I found that throught mics work well

    Well, that might be handy for some people, but not to me. I want to enable PTT. Do you think thats possible? I cant seem to find it on that website or internet. is there anyone on this forum that knows a thing or 2 about walkie talkies? In other words, is it possible that a mechanical switch switches over so that the walkie talkie only has VOX and that the PTT button is disabled?
