yes and no - it depends on the speakers ohm's and size. and the volume will be very low because the amplifier in the walkie talkie's would be very small

Will a multi chanel walkie-talkie work like a wireless microphone for an inter com system in a cafateria
Walkie talkies aren't anywhere close to the frequency of a wireless microphone. I seriously doubt it would work at all. If you have the walkie talkie all ready you could try it but the odds agains it working are so great it's not worth buying one.
I am a rather newbie electronics hobbyist and I want to know how I would make a walkie talkie by having it send input from a microphone over a radio frequency (I assume that's how it's done), and have it be picked up and transmitted out a speaker on the other end.
Go to yahoo search for a fm or am transmitter schematic. Or buy a kit.
Only problem you will have is they will be low power around 200 feet or so to be legal.
