Mini Walkie Talkie

Me and My sister where outside onn our new mini pink cobra Microtalk Walkie talkies and then all of a sudden it rung up numbers like beep bepp bepp bepp beep beep beeep . then after that we heard a cop on the walkie talkie mumbling like blalalallalalalal then he said suspect on IQ.oh and this boy who was playing with his friends? how can you get theses signals please tell me! i want to no how i can do it again!

You were probably receiving something called inter-modulation. This is when 2 radio signals get mixed and create a third signal. This created signal can be on almost any frequency and possible one heard by Your walkie talkie. It requires a unique set of conditions that only happen every so often. It's not something you can control.

i want to buy radio's good 4 my 1 mile camping trip but i also want to look cool and i dont want small mini walkie talkies i want ones with big antennas like the Motorola HT1250LS but when i asked the seller he said you should buy low end i want to know what the diff can any1 answer or give suggestions

Its complicated!

That radio is a high end one, and would cost around $300.00, and probably requires a liscense.

There are 2way radios with 3-6 mile radius and cost around $50.00. They run on either AA or AAA batteries.
