Nothing too fancy... as long as I can hear the other person more than the noise of road.

I have no experience with this brand, so I can't give any reviews.
Every review I've read, says that J&M are top of the line.
I have a uniden 885 walkie talkie two way radio that comes with its own headset. The plug that the headset uses is a single 2.5mm jack plug.I want to use the radio on my motorcycle. So the headset that comes with the radio is no good as it wont fit inside a helmet.I have had a look for one on the web but the ones that i find dont use a single 2.5mm jack plug. Can anyone recommend one that i can use.
Take a look at your existing headset plug and see if it has one black band around it or two. Those are insulators and will tell you if the output from your uniden is mono (one band) of stereo (two bands). Next, buy a headset that works in your helmet that has the same # of bands. Go to Radio Shack or something better and ask those pathetic geeks to help you make a conversion cable that will work. They have all kinds of tips (plugs/sockets) made to fit most devices that are interchangeable, relatively inexpensive, and they work fine. Good luck.

I ride with a full face Shoei street helmet (both Syncrotec and a RF1000) and would like to add some sound to my ride with an mp3 player. I have tried many ear bud head phones only to find them trying to tear my ears off when doning and removing helmet so I was wondering if anyone out there could recomend some setups and brands for stereo helmet set ups. Just to clarify I am not looking for intercom, walkie talkie, or microphone setups, just the head phones. Thanks for your help!
First thing to do is check for 'pockets' for the speakers to fit into in the ear ports of the helmet. If there aren't any pockets check for a large enough space to mount the speakers. To be honest I've never had any luck putting speakers I'm about to suggest in helmets that weren't designed to accept them.
Get in touch with J&M, they make some of the best motorcycle specific audio equipment on the market. Thier customer service is second to none too, real helpful folks. http://www.jmcorp.com/SeeProducts.asp?PF =20
Good luck!
I have been riding with a buddy of mine for a while, but I find it's really hard to hear what he says and we find it hard to decide which way we're taking. I was wondering if anyone has found some sort of walkie talkie or something that could be put inside of a helmet so we could more easily communicate.
J&M corporation offers products that will fit your needs
Autocomm is another company to check out.

Lego City Police Motorcycle #7235 | jellofart#39;s blog
I bought this set because it was cheap and I wanted the figure and motorcycle for my police force. This set comes with one officer figure that has a very detailed printed head and torso. He is equipped with a white helmet and a gray walkie-talkie. The motorcycle itself is an extremely simple build (most of the motorcycle being one frame piece) and when finished it looks genuinely like a real police motorcycle. The motorcycle is equipped with a kick-stand and a place for the walkie-talkie. Here are the basics of the set:
The good things
Officer
This is a small lego set that is good for the Lego collector that prefers the City Items, It seems overpriced for size but it is way better than the motorcycles from the 1990’s. I imagine kids would loveit as it is better suited to making different style motorcycles unlike the earlier one piece motorcycles. Is great to add with other Police sets.
