I just got a job with security at a local club. We are given walkie talkies (commercial ones) but we must buy our own headsets. Everyone there has the clear curly headset cord that just pops in your hear. (you know the ones the secret service where) i have been to every store in town and havent found a thing, I even tried inline and have still failed to find the clear 2-pronged headset. Please help me find a link lol.. I must go into work again tommorow :/
Thanks alot!

Can anyone tell me? Okay, I'll explain the situation. A police department is monitoring a house of an important person, for security purposes, one officer spots an intruder's shadow, and he radios in the suspicious shadow what would he say?
The officer's just spotted someone in the house so it would be a break in.

I love going to concerts and go to many shows. I hate the concerts in the huge venues with security everywhere and guard rails around the stage. I much prefer the small venues where you can get right up next to the stage and there is no security with walkie talkies to give you a hard time, not to mention the lines are much shorter and you don't have to be 300 ft from the stage because there are so many people.
What about you what do you prefer?
I perfer like little clubs. You are closer to the stage and you feel like you more involved with the show, well, at least I do anyway.
Have we got to the point where churches have to have tight security?
sure, i mean, if anyone doesn't get a songbook of their own - they get mad!
I am throwing a party and I was wondering how cops would react if I have 6 guys who are sober monitoring the party with walkie talkies and security shirts. We will also be directing parking away from our house and have no beer or disturbance outside. Smokers must smoke out side and be quite or we will kick them out. Any comments on this or tips? Thanks.
As a Cali Cop, I like it when people who are setting up a party think ahead like this... But, be careful about having any identification stating they are "security." In California, and I am sure in most states, security guards must have a state license, the slang term is Guard Card. In addition, whoever they work for must have a "PPO" License, "Private patrol operator." This all means license fees, bond underwriting, training, uniforms etc.... Without this you just open your self to liability if something goes wrong.
Now that being said......
Get shirts that say "STAFF." They are just that, staff members for the party. They are not security guards, they are just there to assist your party goers such as informing them of the rules, directing people to smoking areas, and telling people were to park. If needed they, acting as civic minded citizens, they may summon police/EMS as needed for those who have imbibed too much.
Good luck and tell us how it went
