Are two way radios GMRS frequency capable out of the box without a license?

I am going to the bahamas in a few weeks where GMRS is legal, and I was wondering if the radios that claim 12 or 16 miles etc GMRS are capable of this right out of the box. Thanks!

Yes they are, The instructions for the radios contain warnings that you can be prosecuted for using these frequencies. Of course since I am one who plays 1st and reads directions later I was afraid that "big brother" would be coming after me.

How can I install a speaker box to a JVC HD radio?

I have two speaker boxes with 1 large speaker and 2 tiny speakers on them, and I want to put them in my car, do I need anything special?

Ok but that doesnt tell me how I install them.

No, you don't need anything special to connect those boxes. They are made with one set of terminals, cuz that's how they were designed to be used. The only thing, is that they might not be as loud or clear as you want them, due to the lack of quality in this speaker set-up.

has anyone have the rating box (on radio launchcast) frozen on a song after two or three songs?

like it stops us from rating songs after the second or third song but still plays songs but we can rate because it stop showing the song after awhile.

That has happened to me before but my biggest problem is that it won't let me get into "my station" sometimes. But I still love it, I'm up to over 3500 ratings so it plays all of my favorite songs that I have rated, so I enjoy listening to it while I am at work.

where are the 2 radio fuses on an 01 neon?

There are two radio fuses on a 01 neon, according to a best buy auto guy...

one is to the radio for the connection and the other to the ground, er something.

one is in the fuse box, we know that..
but where's the other?

I've never heard of a second fuse in a Chrysler radio, there is always one in the fuse panel for the power source to avoid power spikes/surges that would damage the factory radio. If you have a factory amp, there could be one associated with that but I've owned two Chryslers with factory amps and neither had a fuse associated with the amp that I remember.

You might try researching this site, there may be some info there, http://installdr.com/.

How do I connect lots of electronic peripherals from cable box out? Please be very specific?

I have about four peripherals to be connected from cable box out but need step by step instructions. This is dealing with cable box out then to the peripherals. I do have the other stuff connected. I see lots of wires that I will not touch...

Do I need splitters? That would be small wires that have two connections...I did get diagram from radio shack but still am in a quandry...Cable guy said to set all peripherals at channel 3.

Thank you!

Repost the question detailing the make and model of all peripherals including the cable box and TV. If we don't know what stuff you have we won't know what connectors your devices have.
