Is there any way to secure my radio/cd/mp3 in my civic from being use by other people?

I just got in to a minor accident (I'm not in fault) with an Chevy Tahoe and after all the switching info. I took my civic to a repair shop to have it's fender, front bumper and head-left-light repair. So after three weeks, i went to the shop to pick up my civic. They radio in an employee to drive my civic to the front. They told me they kept all customers cars in a compound so it'll take no more that three minutes. After two minutes, i hear a loud bass of a music coming from a civic in front of the repair shop. Then i notice that was my civic!!!! I was shock and mad as hell. Believe me, i had a bat in my trunk and i wanted to bang him in the head for blasting my own radio.

Long story short: A mechanic was driving my civic back to me taking advantage of my sound system.

Now my question is there any way to secure my radio/cd/mp3 player of my civic. I have the navi system also and it always reminds of the safety precautions, can i set any thing, so that only i can access it?

Do you have a CD player with a removable faceplate? That is the absolute easiest way to guarantee no one will touch your radio. You just take it off and carry it with you or put it in a safe place in your car.

I like the Korn in it but the (my) two songs that should be in it are:

Saliva - Hunt You Down/Family Reunion/My Own Worst Enemy (Couldn't Decide On Just One, 'Cause They're The Best Band Ever And All, Ya' Know).
Egypt Central - Taking You Down.

Otherwise they did pretty good on this one.

And as the signature line in Blind by Korn says:

ARE YOU READY!!??

What would be the best Bluetooth headset for a Treo 700wx for use in a semi noisy enviroment?

I'm a cab driver, operating a Ford Freestar, which is not designed to be very quiet on the highway. I've had customers complain they cannot hear me over my cell phone. I've tried different models. I usually end up taking it off and just picking up the phone.

I've consider going back to a plug in, but the wire gets in the way of steering when the phone is setting in its cradle. If I run and extension, so that it can be plugged in above my head, I lose sound quality due to resistance from using such a long wire, unless I cab get a headset with a battery powered signal booster.

I should mention that the Bluetooth may be getting interference from the other electronics in the taxi. Aside from the DDS System for dispatch, there is the 2-way radio, my Sony laptop, two video screens, the Cabaraoke machine, and the video camera for recording the Karaoke performances for posting on the Internet.

The Plantronics Voyager 510 is the best out there. It has a Lightweight design for all-day wearing comfort; Noise-Canceling microphone for clearer conversations and WindSmart provides wind-noise reduction technology for optimal sound clarity.

It also Supports Adaptive Frequency Hopping (AFH) to help avoid interference for co-existence with Wi-Fi/WLAN. If any of those devices are on the same frequency as the bluetooth headset (such as a Wi-Fi Connection), the AFH should adjust for maximum clarity.

The price is also great. Amazon.com has it for $50 and Buy.com has it for $41. It retails for $99.

Others may tell you that the Aliph Jaw Bone is the best but its ear loop is weak which breaks easily and the price is too expensive for my taste ($130). I have yet to find a store that sells it for less than retail.

begining of my story, what do you think?

Commander Deen ducked behind the crumbled brick wall as gunfire hailed around him. The marine next to him loaded a new clip into his rifle and yanked on the bolt. A massive tank with two huge cannon barrels on its rotating cabin. rolled next to Deen and fired a double blast at the source of the gunfire. A rocket whizzed overhead narrowly missing the tank and exploding at the base of the building in front of Deen. Deen cocked his M17 rifle and fired a burst over the wall. He pressed his head radio to his ear. “Command! Come in!” He yelled.
“This is Sky eye command, what’s the situation, Commander Deen?” A calm, almost computerized voice responded.
“We are in serious trouble! Being overwhelmed! Need reinforcements ASAP!”
“Commander Deen, all forces are currently pinned or unable to assist. We have R.A.I.N. Squad Omega inbound to provide support. E.T.A. 10 minutes. You must hold your current position until then.”
The tank near Deen exploded in a massive explosion, causing his ears to ring, and blur his vision. “R.A.I.N. squad? Alright, bring the R.A.I.N.! We need that backup, now!” He popped above the wall and fired another burst. He hit an enemy soldier as he ran between cover and the man fell, but Deen ducked behind the wall as a sniper round hit the wall. “Everyone hold out!” he yelled to all his solders. “We got a R.A.I.N. squad coming In! Watch the skies!”

. . .

Captain Jack Archer walked into the cargo hold of the osprey v7. His R.A.I.N. cyberarmor clinked lightly as he walked. His squad sat in the chairs along the walls of the craft. He slapped a slumped head as he walked. “Get up, Butch.” he said. The man jumped and grumbled. He looked around and stood up. “We drop in fifteen, guys. Mount up.” he walked to the wall that was lined with several stations, each stocked with weapons. Each of the solders, all clad in the advanced R.A.I.N. armor, comprised a several black armor plates covering their chest, shoulders, arms legs and vital areas. The plates were strong but light, causing no movement limitations. They walked to their own spots on the wall. Jack grabbed the complex assault rifle that hung in his spot. The spot next to him was vacant and he turned to see another solder with blond hair, his head bowed, a large sniper rifle strapped to his back, and a M17 rifle with a sleek scope and a long barrel in his lap. “William, are you already set?” Jack asked with a chuckle.
The man looked up. “Yeah you know me. Always ready. I just want my rifle close.” His voice was low and somber.
“ yeah I hear ya.” Simon said, down the line. A large jagged scar marked his face near his left eye and stretched all the way to his collarbone. He pumped a massive shotgun with a silver clip feeding from the bottom,” I love Julie here.” He patted the shotgun affenectontly and slipped it onto his back.
“Do you know how creepy it is that you named that gun? And that you named it after mom?” Ryan, who was next to him, looked at him with a perplexed face. Smaller than his massive brother, Ryan simply retrieved his rifle, then he grabbed a large metallic backpack with a red cross on it. He opened the case and examined the contents. “Guess I’ll just fix you up after you get hit.”
“Yeah right, Butch is the one who always gets hit.” Simon jeered, loading grenades on his belt, and retrieving his own metal pack.
Butch looked up from his cubicle. “He’s right ya know.” he said in his booming voice. “I mean, hell, I have the record for the most bullets ever taken. Well, taken and survived. “ he chuckled and the massive man picked up a large minigun. The multiple barrels shown as he raised the large frame and connected a massive drum magazine on the side. He spun the barrels around and laughed a little.
“Please be careful with that thing.” Dill said from the far end of the line. The tech-officer flexed his arm and examined the small electronic device on the arm of his armor. “You scare me with that monster. “
”O.K. Who scares you more? Me or Butch?” James Hailfeild, with his mad red hair leaned out and looked at Dill with a mad smile, holding a block C4.
“You.” Dill said without a moments hesitation. “And you be really careful with that.” Dill grabbed his rifle, covered in various electronic devices and tools.
“Cut the crap guys, we need to drop soon.” jack said. “Get your gear and get over here.” Archer walked past the rest of them to a large round base. His black metallic pack had a small sniper rifle attached to it, and the hilt of a blade over his right shoulder. His custom rifle hung on his chest, with a small sleek optical scope, a inferred laser sight, and a front grip. The barrel was longer then the standard, but shorter than Williams’s.
The team grabbed the last of their equipment and walked along behind him. They took their positions around a large dome shaped object in the center of the room. As they formed around it, Jack tapped the center of it. His cybernetic implants glowed light

I liked it. You've got a lot going on there for an introduction, but I'm guessing it's one of those "pull 'em in" with a lot of action, then get to the main plot points after showing what these characters are made of. So far, I think you're doing well. You'll need more proofing and spell checking to make sure the words come out as the ones you mean. If you have a decent story to back that up it could make a fine book or short story.

Good luck with it.

writing a furestic war story, here is the what i have so far?

I've read many worse. I only take the time to make the criticisms below because I'll buy your first book when/if I see it. You have potential. This story is already better than much of what I just read in the latest L. Ron Hubbard's "writers of the future"

Stop saying M17 so much.

It's not creepy at all to name a rifle. It's quite common, and buddies are happy, because the rifle will be well maintained and ready to save their bacon in a fight.

'melded' also suffers from overuse.

You aren't going to find a handheld minigun firing grenades, because the entire point behind multibarreled weapons is a firing rate so high that a single barrel would melt. The ammo load for such is in the very high hundreds to thousands, no human can carry a thousand propelled grenades into combat. Basically, the guy is carrying an A-10's gatling cannon which weighs 620 lbs with no ammo or power supply, The gun's recoil exceeds the plane's engine thrust. A .22 gatling is about all a human can really handle. Jesse Ventura's minigun in Predator held about 750 rounds. He'd have been much better off with a larger caliber slower firing single barreled machine gun, like a custom 20mm autogun like the bruce willis movie "the jackal". (but if you're going to shoot at hillary clinton, use explosive rounds, not depleted uranium penetrators)

You can get away with a lot more in movies than you can in books.

Likewise with the twin barreled tank. An M-1, I believe, carries less than 150 rounds.
