For my volunteer work I'm supposed to have a walkie talkie with one earpiece. I have a crappy set of earbuds. Could I cut one off and have the other still work, or will it short circuit the whole thing? Thanks
yea it wont matter
Just give me some good ame types and rules.
I have: 2 lightsabers, 7 squirt guns, 2 walkie talkies, with a base communicator, a motion detector, sound spy earpiece, voice changer, 2 pairs of night vision googles, a foam disk shooting gun, about 100 golf balls (grenades perhaps?), 20 wiffle balls (Remote grenades? Mines?), 2 big bouncy balls (probably a nuke. . .), some baseballs(maybe smoke or stun grenades?), 2 baseball bats, 2 plastic swords, a tennis racket (shield), lots of notebooks (for plans and plots and notes), and some spy clothes and bullet pads.
There is 2 bases, a backyard and front, and 4 people that make 2 teams.
please give me games and full discriptions of rules and ideas no comments or funny business. Yahoo Answers has personally promised to give me the right to ban your account on answers if you do!!!!!
at the beginning when it says "ame" it means "game"
You could have two teams of two people. Have each group have a walkie-talkie. With the two items of every item you mention, have each group get one. With the squirt guns, have it so that each team has three, and leave one out. The golf balls as grenades is perfect, and make sure to give each team 50 golf balls. The tennis racket, just leave it out. For the one items, do this: Put them all in a big pile. Each team picks one until they're gone.
Game types:
Secret Scavenger Hunt
Give each team a list of clues as to where items are. Have the items divided up evenly. Each team gets to have 20 minutes each to search for the items around the backyard and frontyard. When the 20 minutes are up, have each team bring they're items to you. The team who has found most (or all) their items wins!
Hope I helped!!

The Adventures of a Quirky Mom: Listening amp; Hearing
For a while now, I've suspected an auditory processing issue. Today we visited the audiologist (after 2 failed hearing tests). Here is the basic rundown.
He can physically hear. He was taken into a sound proof room & he had to identify the different beeps in each ear. He passed.
After explaining my issues with his auditory processing, she completed more tests.
His inner/middle ear is healthy. She tested the pressure of his inner/middle ear & he passed. So no issue there. This also tested if the sound waves were actually getting to the brain. They are.
Then she placed him in the sound proof room to listen to a recording of sentences being spoken (at normal tone) with different levels of background noise. There were 6 sentences. The first sentence was zero background noise. The 6th sentence she said was hard, with a lot of background noise - almost no one gets it. Think of speaking at a normal tone at a sports game. Yeah, good luck!
